Clint Smith and his students help us understand the power of narrative
‘To understand somebody, understand what shaped them, understand their story’ Clint Smith, Teach For America, 2011
Man I fuckin love Clint Smith!
I WISH I had a teacher like you when I was in high school! I realize you aren't teaching high school anymore and I can only imagine how much your students miss you. Thank you for " How the Word is Passed." Thanks for reading the audio version. It's fire!
I would fall asleep in his class every day.
What a blowhard!
Thank you. For your clarity, passion and inspiration.
Beautiful
Beautiful! I'm a teacher too...very touching poem!
The kids will appreciate it when its too late.
who would dislike this? Simply amazing. love all of your work.
It's all over the place.
It's historically inaccurate.
It doesn't rhyme.
It's trash
@@aishabintabubakr4944 If you understood real complex beautiful poems you would know that poems doesn't have to rhyme AT ALL, your think about a simple plain basic poem with perfect rhymes, same short words like, "I like the sun, its super fun, i hate the moon, i hoping it goes away soon" this poem is supposed to be all over the place, you have absolutely know place to speak if you think like this.

You can lie to yourself all you want, but this is awful.
Your expectations are low because of the color of his skin
@@aishabintabubakr4944 when did the color of skin had anytning to do with this?? if his skin color is a factor on why u think this poem is awful you need to get your self checked
@@aishabintabubakr4944 you made yourself look foolish
