Trim brackets in place just as a precaution incase the train runs too fast into the turnaround twist element, easier to put the brackets in now rather then during testing, they’ll add trims if needed but unlikely 😊

That track for colossus was out last year as well. So something must have gone wrong last year so the track we rode probably wasn't new track like we thought. Great update btw!

Yh it's definitely the old track. I think where colossus is so old and new the water the foundations have moved or sunk. So the new track didn't fit. They put the old track back in since its stretched and fits. I don't think we will see a re track any time soon unless it's a full re furbishment like nemesis had at alton towers

@@TheKnexMaker That's a good point, I didn't think about the foundations. tbh I think the repaint might actually help with less vibration as towards the front of the train there was a lot less vibrations than on the rest of the barrel roles. I guess we will just have to see.

@AliTP20 I hope they have at least re lined and re tightened the bolts so the tracks a bit smoother. That's all it really needed. Re aline them and weld and grind smooth

It didn't feel any different when I rode it last year. It isn't the roughest part of the ride, though

Hey for the knex I want to start building coasters but I’m not sure where to get the pieces and I was wondering did you 3d print your trains?

I did. But it's expensive. My custom trains cost me around £500+ including the bearings, screws, resin prints and paints. I would just build up 6our knex collection for a while first. And maybe in the future invest in just the wheel assembly's
