She was snubbed of an Oscar nomination. I forget who won that year, but this is one of the best female roles ever played, especially in horror. She's long overdue for an Oscar.
I think a really good actor/director team has the ability to make YOU feel like you are going through all the emotions that their character is going through. When I watched this, I truly felt the terror, anxiety, and confusion that Rosemary was experiencing as she realized the depth of this "conspiracy" surrounding her--and that she had absolutely NO ONE to help her. Kudos to both Mia and Roman for achieving this "realness" for the viewer. Great movie....
