    They should have included Steven Parent when they named the victims. He also had a family, friends, and dreams for his future. Yet the creators of this documentary didn’t even deem him worthy of mentioning.

    I feel bad for Sharon's sisters because it seems like they had to live in Sharon's shadow. I also think it is sad that most people do not recognize Sharon and Roman's baby Paul Richard as a victim of murder. What happened to Sharon and the others is just horrid.

    I personally feel Abigail Folger was murdered the most viciously. She fought, ran, almost made it to the fence, then I believe shock set in and she gave up. She had plans to fly out of the city in only a few hours. Terrible timing, Steve Parent, terrible timing. Jay Sebring, just over to visit that day. It's haunting.

    • @ophiecat
      @ophiecat Před 3 lety +13

      Without a doubt it was Sharon that was killed the most viciously. She was the last to die so she saw everyone die before her. She was pleading for her baby’s life and was cruelly told that there was no mercy for her. She was hanged on the rafter before she was stabbed to death. Sharon suffered the most.

    • @aprilgosa5779

      Tbh when I first found out she had animals I was really worried that they were either hurt/killed during the attack or survived and were just thrown into the pound forgotten about so i'm glad they got out okay and went to loving homes.

It truly makes me SO SICK that those freaks have fame strictly just because they so violently killed Sharon, her baby, and the rest of the famous people that they killed. There is NO excuse for what she has done.
      And you are so right. The were angry, wanted money and fame, as we all know. Manson was absolute greedy and longing for fame. I am happy he never got that record contract, that Dennis Wilson threw him out of his house, that terry Melcher said Manson is not at all talented.

Out of all the potential Marilyn successors, Sharon shared similar qualities that made Marilyn unique without, thankfully, Marilyn's life deprivations and troubles and lack of a solid self-image. Like Marilyn, I believe Sharon had a deeper life purpose than just what surfaced and occurred---like Marilyn, she continues to inspire people to appreciate their best inner qualities; Sharon's death, arguably, was not in vain: think of the potential victims of violent crime she saved.

    Innocence? She didn't deserve what happened to her but to call her innocence is a stretch.

      Agreed. I was only 4 when Sharon left this world, but I saw some films and although acting, they were not innocent. To sexual for my taste.
      I also saw home movies of pot smoking, etc...

      @@PaperImagesArtStudio if there was real innocence, she wouldnt have been involved with that Hollywood crowd. Maybe they start off innocent but no one remains innocent in that cesspool. By the way this type of violence is normal there, they just dont show it as often, they act as if this is the first and last case of this type to happen in that city

    Was Sharon a talented actress or not? She was good. No doubt about that. However, I think the 70s would have been her golden career in acting. 60s was the apprenticeship. Whatever you think of her acting talents, she didn't deserve to die so young and in such a brutal manner. Sharon harmed no one.

      I don't know what Garretson did the night of August 10 1969. All I can imagine is that he was very scared of the house invaders that night. We have to remember that Tex Watson cut the telephone wires before entering the Tates' residence. Therefore there was no means that Garretson could have summoned help from the Police or anyone else.
