Great improvements and I really like the bedroom closet/dresser. Definitely a great unit. The only lost opportunities were the storage on each side of the couch. The top was wider than the storage creating a big gap on each side that would have been better served by increasing the width of the cabinets. The other was the open bottom shelf by the toilet. I’m not sticking my head there to put anything in, out or to clean. Closing that off using that space to have one DEEP shelf in the pantry behind it would have been ideal. But overall of of the best I’ve seen for a while.
Nice trailer, I'm very happy to see that they are making the side marker lights blink finally. That feature should be standard. Good job, Mike and Josh 👍🍺.
We have a '21 N.P. that we actually purchased in Aug '20. We absolutely love everything about it. This being our 3rd Jayco in a row, needless to say we're loyal Jayco brand customers. Luv the '24 updates. Specifically the 102" wide body, larger partial vessel bath sink, udated bedroom wardrobe configuration, & factory standard solar. Thought I read somewhere that this unit also has a factory standard dishwasher. Is that so? (I may have missed it in your video) As always Josh, you're the man in the RV video industry. Suprised a manufacturer hasn't snatched you up by now. 👍

I just think (based on watching your videos over the last few years) you've developed into quite the spokesman with extensive knowledge, experience, and a personality to boot. Finally!! No more pleather couches, yay!! Game changer redesign of the bedroom closet, awesome!! Dedicated places for trash cans and laundry! Better sound system! All great changes. Would be very close to the top of our list if it had Azdel walls; that is a deal breaker for us. Also, would really prefer PVC over a TPO roof. And also need the full body paint option. Give us these three options and we are in!
The full pantry without the hutch is great for maximizing space. Perhaps consider installing an outlet in the pantry so one could still have a “coffee station” if that’s their preference.
Great that Mike is listening to the customers thinks could be updated make work much better. Like the space in the bathroom storage nice to have pull out shelves able to reach the back end.
Really like the "closet" configuration. Really don't like the large bath sink...takes up too much counter space. Like the covered storage in bath. Not enough counter space in kitchen. That flip up counter looks sketchy, I want a coffee, crock pot area. Willing to give up some of the pantry. What about putting doors above the pantry to easily access that space. Like the coat closet. Grand Design forced Lippert to improve the furniture fabric a few years ago, good to see Jayco is doing the same now.
I really like this unit, I just think with how nice Jayco made it they could have taken out all the carpet! Oh, and I wish it had an option for full body paint. Keystone does it on their mid and high end lines so I would think Jayco could do it on their North Points.
Love it! Best upgrades are definitely the kitchen appliances and the furniture. Thoughts for next years models: Don’t be afraid of color!!! Adding a pop of color on the cabinets, or furniture would be great. The off white looks fantastic, however, the gray is so gloomy looking and outdated. Add a soft green like sage or celadon on the lower cabinets, or even just a caramel colored sofa. Something other than black, brown and gray. I understand they’re trying to remain neutral in color for the customers, but I promise, light touches of neutral tones will have greater appeal, and resulting in more satisfaction.
What an amazing unit and an equally amazing job by both you and Mike on the video. I love so many of the changes thy have made and they are all great ones. LOVE the GE everything system instead of the furrion junk. Also love what they did with the wasted space in the front cap. This unit would be on our short list of next campers if it weren't for 3 things which make this great unit of no interest to us. Televator= Total waste of space. In exchange for bad viewing angles on the couch you get an extra window to look at your neighbors. You have to clean off the top every time you want to use it and hope nothing drops in the crack, you can't mount any other tv sizes or any swivels. You are stuck with what it and more importantly where it is (ie zero viewing angle choices) forever. How can you have a $125K rv and still have that horrible toe stubber raised slide on the off door side. That is just crazy. My wife would walk in, see that and just walk right back out and not care about any improvements they did. That should be flush floor like the door side. To a more minor issue is the windows. Why even bother making them bigger if you are just going to go for looks instead of function by installing bigger windows that still let in a tiny amount of air compared to a real window. I get what they are after, much like the televator they are going for looks and image more then function. Call me old school but rather then have windows that just look pretty and a tv that hides on a motor I would MUCH rather have windows that let in more air and a tv I can watch from anywhere in the coach. Still LOVE the improvements they are making though, its nice to see people listen to the groups.

I think they have done an out standing job. My onle major complaint is I do not want or do I want my wife to be lifting the bed to access storage. Fix that and you have a great product. 2 small drawers or one large, doesn't matter. Once you put a good mattress on the bed you do not want to be lifeting it fo access stroage.
Whenever I see the dinette like in this video and many others (love the floor plan bit the dinette has to be tweeked) I sometimes cringe how it's stationary locked to the slide wall with 2 seats and max can fit 5 people (2 per side and 1 on other outside Id want one of those floating island tables where you can just have your family and maybe 1 or 2 friends family over that would be nice I'm nit picking ovisouly but good decent floor plan
See those pre installed HDMI cables? That's where Brinkley failed miserably. It's a simple thing to add when building the RV, but such a pain to retrofit.

Josh, you mention my truck a lot, 1 ton single rear wheel, but then say dually like my truck isn’t enough? Running the numbers I’m on the high end but not exceeding anything, what don’t I know about my capability to own one of these or the pinnacle version?
All of that space and no drawers in the bathroom - use an offset drain on that large vessel sink and voila you can put the drain/cabinet to one side of the vanity and then put drawers on the other side.
Another great video Uncle Josh! Im impressed that Jayco is now offering the ABS standard on their higher end models. I assume it is the Lippert model that was only available on Montanna i think. I bought a 2023 North Point and would be interested in an ABS retrofit if available. Are you aware if this is possible?
I love it, I have the 2023 model and we love it also but I wish we had waited for this model, oh well maybe in a few years I also notice that the 24's are heavier than the 23's like about 500lbs heavier.
If they had struts, then I'll leave them open in my storage section of the video If they're left down, then USUALLY it means they couldn't hold themselves open A local team member can always verify

Is it a matter of choosing between 3 good options or is there a clear winner in your eyes? Or is there another option. Thanks for your time.
I mean something like a Paraigm 310RL fits right into that list too. or a brinkley model z 3100 That's a REALLY popular size/range/family of layouts and you're zero'd in on some excellent versions of it. I don't know that there is a CLEAR winner. They each beat one another in a few small ways. i will say though the 2024 updates to north point really impressed me. They piled a LOT of consumer feedback into their designs with things like the new 102" wide body, no more "pleather" sofas, updated kitchen, and what I feel is a vastly improved front bedroom closet among a few other odds and ends
Hey Josh I have a question about viewing the TV from the sofa seat closest to the TV. It looks like if someone is sitting in that seat they won't be able to view the TV unless they are sitting on the front edge of the cushion. Can you confirm this? I've always wondered that when seeing this type of entertainment setup. I think that's why I prefer the TV to be mounted on an adjustable swingarm.

I've been a traveling carnie a long time and I gotta say.. Mike can talk, man 😂 he's talking about offering less color options and I'm nodding cause he's making it sound like they did you a favor
Such a high end unit and still no one is smart enough to put the heat vents under the islands kick plate, the kick plate in the bathroom, cabinetry, dressers and so on. All the stuff screwed down. So easy to do right from the blueprint stage. But engineers are like a sasquatch, you hear of them but never meet them. That speaks volumes for how the unit is designed and built. So tuck that blue badge in your panties and check out how real high end trailers are built. Double dog dare ya.
Jayco has looked at doing cabinet ducted heating but you lose 37% of your air flow and they want to provide maximum heat capacity through the RV Cabinet ducted heating is definitely easier to keep stuff out of vents, but it is also significantly more effective. It actually keeping the RV warm and comfortable.
That is a very cool 5th wheel, WOW I love the floorplan and features. If we had seen this before we bought our Newmar from Bish's earlier this year we just might have altered plans.
Design isn't the issue that needs improvement. Quality control, craftsmanship and dealership accountability need improved.

At 14:55 I think for the price they could do better than a vanlife flip up counter hardware. Just looks like an after thought.

2 Person desk.. I think you're the first I've heard to request that specifically..
Too bad they still have toe stubber rather than flush floor on kitchen side.

Such a high end unit and still no one is smart enough to put the heat vents under the islands kick plate, the kick plate in the bathroom, cabinetry, dressers and so on. All the stuff screwed down. So easy to do right from the blueprint stage. But engineers are like a sasquatch, you hear of them but never meet them. That speaks volumes for how the unit is designed and built. So tuck that blue badge in your panties and check out how real high end trailers are built. Double dog dare ya.
Jayco has looked at doing cabinet ducted heating but you lose 37% of your air flow and they want to provide maximum heat capacity through the RV
Cabinet ducted heating is definitely easier to keep stuff out of vents, but it is also significantly more effective. It actually keeping the RV warm and comfortable.
What no Gun Safe ?
The Upper deck ceiling height doesn’t seem to come close to the 84” upper deck ceiling height offered in the Palomino Columbus 5th wheels.

That is a very cool 5th wheel, WOW I love the floorplan and features. If we had seen this before we bought our Newmar from Bish's earlier this year we just might have altered plans.
