Mitchells Vs The Machines: I loved this movie. The characters were either hilarious and likable, (I especially related to Katie, because like her, I'm a creative person who's heading to college), the animation is beautiful and god the comedy is hilarious
Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas: Phenomenal. The entire movie is a drug trip, and Raol Duke is a brilliant character, brilliantly played by Johnny Depp.

I agree but I do feel like Josh Lawson is great as Kano. Really saves the movie for me

    What I watched May 2021:
    - Bad Genius (2017)
    - Beasts of No Nation (2015)
    - Blackfish (2013)
    - Bullitt (1968)
    - Cameraperson (2016)
    - Carnival of Souls (1962)
    - Inside Llewyn Davis (2013)
    - Little Forest (2018)
    - Melancholia (2011)
    - Moonrise Kingdom (2012)
    - Original Cast Album: COMPANY (1970)
    - Q: Into The Storm (2021)
    - Tampopo (1985)
    - The Forest of Love: Deep Cut (2020)
    ======================
My top 5 favorite of the list are:
    1) Tampopo... Just a phenomenal literal comedic spaghetti western from Japan all about the art of Ramen making. It’s hilarious and had me laughing my ass off from start to finish. This will likely be a Top 10 Favorite First-Time Watches of 2021 when the year is over.
    2) Bad Genius... Imagine if Aaron Sorkin wrote a film about high school students forming some advanced underground mass cheating scandal of the ACT/SAT, and doing so in the format of a heist film. It’s just a lot of fun, and is a film from Thailand. Which isn’t all that famous for it’s film industry.
    3) The Forest of Love: Deep Cut... This film is uh... fucking bonkers. Sion Sono is probably the closest director Japan has to America’s David Lynch. This film has a cast of very memorable and fun characters where over the course of 5 hours slowly morph into five of the most despicable characters I’ve ever seen. Sion Sono has no line or sense of how far is too far. The things these characters do and the graphic notion at which Sion Sono depicts on screen is something I will never forget. Similar to how one has to see everything David Lynch has directed, I have to see everything Sion Sono has directed. I tried to be as vague about this film as possible without spoiling it because there is a LOT to talk about. It’s on Netflix.
    4) Melancholia... Lars Von Trier is such a fascinating artist. This film does an incredible job at crafting a two-act story about two sisters who’s lives completely crumble before their eyes over the course of one day. It’s a fascinating character study seeing how each reacts to their situation as they do react in polar opposite ways. Yeah. This film is ripe with possibilities of film analysis.
    5) Little Forest... This film is just a really relaxing slice of life film about the main girl from The Handmaiden and her moving to the countryside reconnecting with her childhood friends and mother through her recreating her mother’s old recipes.

Not in May, but I started off my June with a nice, light-hearted comedy special by Bo Burnham! Seriously though, holy shit Inside is amazing. Please do a video on it I’ll give you all the money.

I'm surprised there are people out there who didn't somehow see Mighty Ducks as a kid. I'm curious have you ever seen The Sandlot? Was it as an adult or child?

Although I am more interested in buying it because the packaging looks dope than for the health benefits lol

I rewatch movies more than I see new ones. I watched platoon for the first time, wasn’t expecting a smoking scene; pretty good movie. Going to see Quiet Place 2 at my local drive in tonight, unfortunately I’ll have to suffer through Godzilla v Kong first. Do you like any war movies?
