    Look at the speed of that mower, the slow mow action. This is some high quality filming, editing, and showmanship. A true pro.

    Love seeing mower reviews with short grass to show what it can do

      Our experience is that homeowners and commercial mow crews cut grass around once per week. So this demonstrates a typical mow in our area. We cut the real long stuff with a Swather, then bale it, and feed it.

    I had a 60" ZT Elite come with the house I purchased...sure it cut but took me over 3 hours (i'm guessing round 3.5 arces). I just mowed with my new 2022 72" Rogue w/ Kawi FX1000 and mow time was less then 1.5 hours. Ride was fantastic, beast of a machine and I hope to get a decade out of it. I was going to get a Maverick HD, but like you said, if you can float it, Bigger faster!

      I'm debating on buying the 72" Rogue with the Kawasaki engine with and without the EFI. It's just $300 more for EFI but I can use regular gas versus without EFI I need to use expensive non-ethanol gas if I want to keep the carbs clean. Which one did you buy and how is it one year later?

      @@carlosrodz1 10/10 would buy again. Just crossed the 50 hour mark mowing about every 7 days. Do wish the usb charger was on the side with the cup holder, but longer cable fixed that.

    Please show us how fast it cuts with grass ,a little taller and thicker. I need to see what a pro grade mower can do on a tuff lawn. Not a 6" sparse lawn.

    Front and rear rubber suspension bushings and suspension make all the difference in the world. My ZT Elite just has the front bushings and it's a Cadillac compared to anything without.

    That mower weighs about 1400+ lbs. Did you worry about ruts or marks in the turf, especially on hills? Seems so well made too. Did you feel like the 61” was enough width? Good video - thanks. 👍

    • @rathbonesales6349
      @rathbonesales6349  Před 2 lety

      The tires are wide, so the weight is disbursed nicely. If you're getting ruts, you can air them down a bit. As far as deck width, always get the biggest one that will fit through your gates.

    I think we all must remember that a 3k or $4k mower may need to be replaced. Imagine your grandpa buying a mower in, say, 1955. Did he think his mower would only last a decade? No. This guy is probably right on buying a bigger one. I just hate it when dealers call things "professional" or "commercial" grade. I don't think I'm buying a Ferrari. I think I'm buying something like it's 1950.

      @rathbonesales6349  Před 3 lety

      Home owners typically don't mow very tall grass. On mow per week is about average with landscape professionals as well as people who mow their own lawn. So, for most of the people using these machines, it was actually a good test.

    • @faceious2006
      @faceious2006 Před 3 lety

      @@rathbonesales6349 Let me clarify. This is a terrible test to show speed with overgrown grass. A lot of people including myself mow areas with grass 1 foot or over with weeds mixed in. It is not thick enough for a brush hog but a stout lawn mower can tackle it. Now if you can zoom down some thick country grass at that speed I will retract my statement.

  • @zfilmmaker

    You need a 1000cc and $12k to mow that? A cheap $500 Murray riding mower from Walmart could mow that.

    • @rathbonesales6349
      @rathbonesales6349  Před 2 lety +2

      Yeah you sure could mow it with a Walmart special. It would take 5x as long and the roots from those trees would make for a terrible ride. You can also cut grass with a pair of garden shears. And you can get them for far less than $500
