I can personally vouch for the Rogue - mine is 61" with Yamaha 33hp engine - does not sound like a mower engine - sounds like a hot rod - have owned now for over 1 1/2 years - residential use - very pleased so far. Run AMSOIL synthetic in everything for best oil on Earth protection of everything. AMSOIL has a special 10 30 small engine oil and 20 50 hydrostatic - also have synthetic grease for the grease gun. On a 1-10 scale, it is as close to 10 as possible. Even got the fancy aluminum Vector rims for rear which are truly nice versus standard steel, and go perfectly with styling of Rogue versus plain jane steel. Thumbs...way up !
I took a chance on a Rouge 61” powered by a Vanguard big block EFI 37hp several months ago. I now have over 40 hours on it. This thing is a beast and the Vanguard engine performs above expectations. I really like the the way this motor senses drag in tall grass and automatically adjusts to keep rpm’s consistent. Anyone considering the Vanguard big block EFI should also consider purchasing the 6 quart Oil Guard System. It keeps the engine running cool in the hottest conditions. It’s a game changer.
I was at a dealership that sold these and Hustlers and they had one of these towing a brand new super z hyperdrive into the showroom.That bad boy exhaust with the big kohlor engine sounded awsome.It was fun too see those two machines together ,clash of the titans .I bought a new 2021 52 X1 Hustler
Is the Kawasaki fx1000 carb version any count on the rouge for 2022..I’ve not heard good things about it….bout to upgrade from a maverick an looking at the 72” rouge with a fx1000
I'm not sure what bad things you heard? They had a recal on the mowing deck back in 2020 but that was a manufacter defect on only a handful of rogues and that problem was fixed a while ago. The rogue is a great step up from the Maverick, the cutting deck is better, and the suspension and ride is a whole lot better. 👌 They changed the design of the front fork this year to provide even better suspension than last years model.
@@TractorBobs I’ve seen a lot of people saying the bigger new Kawasaki’s ain’t what they used to be an dont last very long…but i have the fs730v on the maverick an it seems to be doing great so far. An good too hear that I’m about make the trade.
I own both of the gone mowers. The maverick is minuscule beside the rogue.‼️ The maverick that I had caught in a fire and burnt the wires up on it. It was strictly my fault. And I went back and got the rogue. That was a great choice on my behalf I hear the road is three times the more that I had. The Vanguard 37 horse EFI

Ran 12 hours broke the spring of the DRIVER BELT TENSION. Disappointed
