I ve got neck beard 3. It shines in waves head high and above. But when the surf is smaller 2 + 1 fins set up gives the board a bit more speed and the board works in smaller conditions too.

Nice review, the board definitely improved your surfing. I’m fanatic about the tail pad placement and your neckbeard 3’s tail pad is quite far forward, try push it back to get your back foot over the center fin, you’ll be able to do more critical turns.

I live on the East Coast and one of the best tools for improving surfing is surfskating.
