When Optimus saves Zero and X, The Touch must be played.
I'd say the idea of the mavericks being rogue only because their core programming was corrupted by the sigma virus fits the beast wars setting better. And that's not even touching on the idea of many of the mavericks being animal themed.
This would be really fun! It would be interesting to see what the Transformer's alt modes would be in 21XX. Honestly I think a lot of the Sunbow cartoon Cybertronian modes would fit in perfectly as-is. Maybe a Ride Chaser could be given a spark to create a new character.
I feel like the X series is the perfect series for Transformers to crossover with. The Classic series would have to cross over with the G1 cartoon specifically, while something like the new Skybound comics fit the tone of the Zero games.
I also just want X to have a Cybertronian armor because that would glorious. And of course, him fighting a Cybertronian Sigma. Bliss.
imagine hasbro making a crossover to of transformers and megaman, which vehicle mode would he have, what transformation skeleton would he use

I looked in the megaman fandom wiki and found info on Ride Chaser that could turn into a Ride Armor that was in a cancelled product called Mega Mission 4, and I think it would fit perfectly in this

Considering Takara/Tomy made a crossover with another of Capcom's franchises in Street Fighter x Transformers, a Megaman X/Transformers crossover seems like a no-brainer. Something that's right up my alley.

i'd be surprised if Hasbro took this and contacted Capcom for a crossover game/tv show, i want that happening.

The RID 2015 Decepticons would fit SO WELL with the boss Mavericks from the first 8 games. Pair up the X Hunters with… I dunno, Barricade, Shadow Striker and Waspinator (so Bumblebee and X could have their own rivals)? Pair up Vile with Nemesis Prime!
As long as Megatron doesn’t fusion dance with Sigma like the latter did with Ultron in a certain crossover that shan’t be named, this could work.
It'd be interesting to see Megatron and Sigma compete to be the crossover villain-in-chief in a Transformers x Mega Man X crossover!
I feel like Megatron would actually outsmart Sigma (similar to Lumine in X8), and would use Sigma's power. He learned from Starscream's attempts to become leader of the Decepticons.
Oh, and throw in some “Ride Armor” that doubles as Transtectors for Maverick Hunter Titan Masters. Perfect toy opportunity there!
One thing I'd include in a sequel is the Software Wars (or something like it) mentioned in Gen 1 was basically the Transformers having to deal with things like Sigma after the Ark and Nemesis crashed on Earth. It'd lead to Shockwave working with the Maverick Hunters and Autobots as it would not be logical to be made part of a whole of Sigma. Also have Sigma run into some complications from Starscream that he left behind.
Dropping the Sigma virus onto cybertron would be horrifying. Because of the way it works with DNA Souls it could likely just as easily infect Transformer Sparks.
Beginning of the idea sounds a whole lot like plot of first half of Transformers Animated, not gonna lie. To be fair, later Megaman games, especially Zero series went full-blown on transforming bosses - be it Armed Phenomenon for Four Guardians and Master X from Zero 1 and 2 or Mythos form for Weil Numbers in Zero 3 or actual Mega Men in Megaman ZX.
So Transformers-esque themes do play in Megaman X/Zero series through and through. Even existence of Duo in Classic shows that there can be alien robots other than those built on Earth.
Overall, it sounds like a solid idea for the crossover, in my opinion.
This does indeed make for a great crossover idea. I think it would be interesting if certain Decepticon characters became aware of the Sigma virus and are opposed to being infected by it, perhaps even leading some to defect from their faction and either join the autobots or simply abandon the war.
I will also say that even though this is set within g1 continuity for transformers, I can’t help but wonder the potential there is for conflicts like Megatron also being opposed to becoming infected, simply because he would probably despise the idea of having his thoughts influenced by Sigma essentially becoming his pawn.
Would love to see more crossover idea videos like Transformers crossing over with Kamen Rider and/or Power Rangers.
Oh also more stuff like this. As a terribly uncreative person myself I enjoy what others can cook up.
Now we're gonna need a follow-up for this timeline's version of Mega Man Zero. Cause there would be so much interesting that could happen with that. Especially involving the 4 guardians and Dr. Weil.

I would love to see this story continue, love at the reasons you picked that time period in the x series. X4 is my favorite of the x series of games.
I'll be honest Megaman's crossover with Sonic the hedgehog was pretty cool, especially when the characters were turned into robot-masters, now imagine that but for Transformers characters become Mavericks!
God as a fan of both franchises I would love for this to be a reality! I would love to see what comes after, like if the Cybertron-bound Decepticons would join the Autobots to help defeat the Sigma-Controlled Cons, or how the events of the games would change, like if Slash Beast's stage takes place ON ASTROTRAIN. Also the Alt modes based on the Mega Man X vehicles would be so sick, give me a Ride Chaser transformer 😎
2 of my favorite sci fi franchises crossing over in such a seamless way. I would love for this to happen, maybe even other series like classic and legends could have a shot as part of a crossover, kinda like an anthology

that was a great what if story TJ, I loved it probably not as a common thing but seems like a fun treat to hear on occasion. Also with that cybertonian armor X would have...dang was about to make a "you got the touch" joke but fumbled midway.
Really cool and smooth integration! I was worried for a moment you were going down too much of a TFA path, where Reploid tech as a whole was going to be a derivative of studying Cybertronians, but you did much better

Love videos like this! What about if they were to do a Sonic crossover? Personally I think the pre-super genesis wave Archie Sonic universe would be the best one to use, though I'm not sure how you'd tie them together exactly

Honestly these two franchises have things that can be interchanged that their is so much potential for story telling
DNA-souls /Sparks
Evil-Energy/Dark Energon
The Mother Elf+cyber elves in general/Matrix of Leadership+Allspark
Sigma and Megatron having ideologies that are so similar that you could honestly tell a story where they DON'T have to backstab eachother
Optimus could be an inflection of what Sigma once was before the virus consumed him and also being a mentor to X
Both have been scarred by war destroying their planets (Cybertron cus well everything) and earth cus of Erussia/Nightmare/Elf wars
Axl and whoever you want to be the kid appeal charecters(Bumblebee, Smokescreen, Cliffjumper)
And both are relativity similar in terms how wacky and crazy they can get so you wouldn't have to worry too much about making one side feel overpowered while leaving the other on the side lines
I know this is mostly based on X4 but it does make me think of Vile and his obsession for ride armors being turned into a headmaster/transtector type deal...
as much as i love the idea, there are a few errors here, specifically on the megaman X side of things
for one, tunnel rhino would probably be around before X3 so the ark would porbably have been found before X3 and that's not to mention other mining roids around digging around for minerals and the like, so more likely the ark would have been found at latest late X2, earliest early X1.
second, even if the ark was found around X3 and the transformers come online it wouldn't cause megatron to replace general but rather he'd be working alongside megatron and let's be honest, would more than likely start to piece together what megatron is doing, and megatron's plan may bring harm to many humans, remember general doesn't hate humans, he just wanted reploid independence after being wrongly labelled mavericks, but with megatron there, humans would probably blame him for things that happend, allowing general to take his repliforce loyalists to fight alongside the maverick hunters to defeat this maverick cybertronian, before finding the autobots of course, this does mean that other than frost walrus, the other repliforce bosses would be fighting alongside the hunters instead of against them, frost walrus was always kinda iffy when it comes to repliforce, so he'd likely stay with megatron just so he can crush weaklings some more, the remaining mavericks would probably still be there because of sigma maybe trying to push the maverick autobot (decepticon) alliance, though i'd imagine megatron would try to replace the remaining four bosses with newly constructed replicons, or promote the repliforce roids that didn't betray him to "boss" status.
third, a minor one but the eight mavericks would probably still look the same, all of them were around before the events of X4 and they might have been around since X1 maybe X2, at most they'd be upgraded to have transforming capabilities, but would not change too much.
fourth, this is a big one, the iris situation, if colonel does go maverick then ether iris would go maverick too or if she deosn't she'll end up dying anyway because of how siblings work in megaman X, long story short; they are still sorta connected, so if one dies, the other dies too.
fifth, and this ones pure speculation on my part but, we know sigma can infect and posses reploids, but can he infect a cybertronian? how do we know if the transformers can even be infected by the sigma virus? i feel like megatron would've heard about the maverick virus and have someone like soundwave analyze it or some other reploid give him a briefing as to what the virus is capable of, and will attempt to make himself immune to the virus to ensure that he stays in charge if he does get infected, though considering sigma wants reploids to be the ones in charge and megatron wants machines to rule over these fleshlings, i think there might be a mutual acceptance much like with ultron sigma, so who knows, HOWEVER! if anyone would be willing and stupid enough to work with sigma it would be starscream if only to get rid of megatron so he could rule, and then try to find a way to be rid of sigma only to be completely under sigma's control, allowing sigma to learn how the cybertronian body works and letting him infect other cybertronian more easilly, but unlikely to happen if the cybertronian anti-virus is particularly strong.
sixth, double being basically a pretender done right, that's not a negative i just wanted to point that out.
seventh, this would have massive ramifications for the future games if this were to happen, including sigma's X5 plan, no need to infect X and zero when he has a far more superior body, if he does manage to infect one that is.
i only bring these up because the idea of this kind of cross over is there! it's just some clarifications and corrections do need to be there if this crossover were to happen.

This makes me think about how much I've wanted to see a Sonic/Transformers crossover, I'm wondering if we'd get a situation where Eggman would work with the Decepticons, or if we'd get a Shadow the Hedgehog situation where he puts his army to fight against the alien invaders like he did with the Black Arms. I can see compelling narratives either way.
Eggman and Megatron would probably be allies but each of them would have plans to backstab the other once they get what they want.

first, Trans Rights indeed!~. This story was everything I'd hoped it would be. This video was brilliant, though, I think for my own take I might go for the games starring Axel, after all, Cybertronian tech might do decently well for introducing the next gen reploids. As for the setting detail, yeah I honestly just figured that Mega Man taking place in the west made sense given ghe fairly Western names of the doctors

What about power rangers and transformers?
I too would enjoy blocking those sad sad people. But yeah I always saw Zero (MMX) as a Ride Chaser style bike. But I don't feel his Zero series would be a bike. X4 is a great time to set it. Even if I feel it was boring game wise the story time is perfect. And yes Double is clever and I would have had og Repliforce of General and Colonel try to side with the the Hunters. But yes Iris lives is for all of us. However I would have just had Zero dual the first body Sigma body. Saber vs Scythe. However X5 and X6 with Wily and then later Gate using the Zero virus could be doomsday for all Transformers.
