I like your analogy about driving your old familiar versus new unfamiliar car. I think that some of the push back against LPiPad is generated by the learning curve. I can say after two weeks of some pretty intensive learning that this new car is getting easier and "funner" to drive!

Hey, Pete. Anyone who doesn't like using the term 'stem' can just pretend it stands for Single-Track Exported Music. 😁
Oh, and a couple of other thoughts. Firstly, about subscriptions. In the US it's $49 a year, and in the UK it's £49.99, I believe. My first thought was, "How many weeks are there in a year? Ah, so that means it's less than £1 a week." Yes, I know that can be a significant amount of money if you haven't got it; I've been there. But less than £1 a week puts it in a different perspective.
Secondly, about round-tripping. When I was learning music production, a lot of people using DAWs would repeat the advice, "Convert your MIDI to audio ASAP." I don't know if anyone's tried to freeze some tracks and try round-tripping, but it obviously can make the whole process easier if you're shuttling audio tracks back and forth.

Logic for iPad shines in the accessibility department. It's the most accessible daw on mobile I have en. Even the mobile versions of apple plugins are more accessible than in gb, or even in logic pro on mac. The sampler on the new iPad app is very accessible according to what I've herd while reading the logic accessibility mailing list, but the mac equivalent is practickly unusable unless you just want to build simple presets or use already existing ones.

Hey Pete.I’ve decided to go all in and record a track with logic completely.Thanks to you and Jades videos,it gave me enough confidence to go all in so I did.I absolutely loved it until I started getting a low memory notification when I was nearing completion on my vocal tracks.This is kind of killing it for me but hopefully they address the issue w a future update before I fry my chip.Lol.other than that I feel I can’t revert to GarageBand because logic is that damn good!Thanks again and I’ll send you a track as soon as it’s done!🤘🏻😈🤘🏻
Awesome. Yeah, it’s a little harder on the processor. You can always record in GarageBand then ship it to Logic to mix too?

Hey there Matteo. Short answer is “no”. Except… you can choose 48 or 96kHz audio instead of just 44.1. So technically you’ll get “better” quality. But I record in 44.1 on every platform, even my PC and Mac where I could bump it up if I wanted to.
Logic sucks! It’s a ripoff from Apple!
Thanks for your feedback. As I mentioned at the start at the end, use what works for you, your workflow and your budget.
