Really cool to see Berlin Ichthyosaur Park, looking forward to future videos on it. The park was closed for a bit and unfortunately part of that bit was the last time I was out there. Its always insane to think about how most of that area was underwater millions of years ago and is now so far from the ocean.
I KNOW. From a future Petrified Forest to marine reptiles chomping on anything else that swam around. It's hard to wrap one's head around the idea. If only we could go back just for a peek.
Absolutely adored the sand dunes, with no one else around for miles! You can really breathe! Loved everything else too, gonna be watching this video again, instant replay, right now! 🏜️🌵🥰
Love the views. Thanks for the ride along. Love you guys. Merry Christmas to you, your family, friends n all the others in your lives. Take care. Can't wait for adventures in 2024.
🥰 awesome drive along, thanks to you both for bringing me on the road trip...the car art installation was/is a bit strange 😅 but creativity comes in strange packages, for sure🤭...loved the drone footage of the dunes and surrounding area💖 See you in the next one 😊 Love always 💖🌞✨
It definitely is strange. You have to wonder where the idea came to stick cars into the ground like that as it's certainly not the only place that has. I need to dig up photos of what it looked like originally. I know just from other videos on CZcams that paint changes there fairly often.
Weve been to that area of Nevada a couple of times, but have never seen the rusted painted cars, sand dunes, OR the Berlin I. State Park. Loved the drone shots as usual as it makes me feel like I'm a flying bird. Thanks for taking me along for the ride.
My mom’s dad was a rail worker. They were up in North Dakota but when you put your hand on that spike, it’s something that my grandfather could have placed. So while they are gone, talk to some old people with recollections of their grandparents. Because of winters, my grandfather didn’t get paid in the winter. So he helped to butcher animals, and was paid in parts. That’s how my mom ate through those cold North Dakota winters. It would be really cool if they had stories about those workers like Slim.
Every time I drive out there I imagine trying to do that on horseback with everything you own on your saddle…including supplies for you and your horse.
I can see that. The graffiti does detract, especially when it's layer upon layer. I also wonder how many people would stop to poke around there to take in the landscape. So hard to say.
FYI, it's not the "reflector thingy", but "reflector doohickey". If you need more help moving forward just let me know in advance and I can provide you my solid research. 😂

Beautiful drive! Something special about the desert landscape for sure!
Couldn't agree more! Wide open spaces and endless landscapes. 😊

Aw! You're the best! Thank you! 😄
LOL - I am loving the printed itinerary. Just a small glimpse of Glenn! Loving the vlog style adventure!
Yup, Glenn really nailed it with the itinerary on this trip. It helped out so much especially with it being such a long trip overall.
Nevada is another state with a lot of remote places to visit. What a great place to camp !
TONS of places. We're barely scratched the surface it feels like! 😄

Thank you so much! Hope you have a great holiday season!!!! 😃

I’m impressed with the branded itinerary!! Things always take longer than originally planned for😂- at least in my travels
Right?! Always have to pad times just a bit. But this time, things worked out fairly well! 😄
I love that campground at the end, seems cool and relaxing...peaceful...another great episode...keep em comin'!
Awesome thanks! Keep an eye out because on Monday, we are releasing our in depth look at that campground.

Thanks! Kind of makes you a bit jealous of birds, right? 😄

Great video! Try to get up to Great Basin NP next time you're up that way, it's so beautiful and always gets overlooked!
It is extremely high on the list!
I did a video on gold field and Tonopa,Nv. Last year. Enjoy watching your video now.
Thanks 👍
That reflector thing looks like the eye of Sauron!!
😂 I can see it.
Every time I drive out there I imagine trying to do that on horseback with everything you own on your saddle…including supplies for you and your horse.
It likely required a lot of patience and perhaps a good number of rounds of 99 bottles of beer on the wall. 😂
Those rusted graffitied cars are nothing but eyesores on our beautiful desert landscape. Why do people do this?!!! Leave the natural beauty alone!
I can see that. The graffiti does detract, especially when it's layer upon layer. I also wonder how many people would stop to poke around there to take in the landscape. So hard to say.

😂😂 We will keep this in mind. Reflector doohickey. Got it. Will use that from here on out. 😄
Well, at least he did not call it a "Thingy ma bob" that would have been just intolerable.
🤣🤣👍
