Looks like this new standup prototype really focus on the good aspects of a standup coaster (The feeling of the coaster forcing the feet off the 'ground') and makes good use of it. Looks really like a fun ride and makes it quite enjoyable for a standup coaster. One thing I notice here: Some smaller people having lots of airtime, but I notice Robb is staying in contact with the floor the entire ride. I believe Robb wasn't like the tallest op the taller people right? That would be a little shame on what still looks like a fun ride
Despite the headache from the classic hard over-the-shoulder restraints and the groin pain if you stood a tad bit too high or too low when the seats locked, I honestly really loved the concept of standing roller coasters. Really hoping that this revised design brings the whole standing concept back into relevance, as from what I can tell it seems to have tackled a lot of the issues the original models had.
I was thinking the same thing. It would make more sense and be a much cooler experience. Looks awkward just standing facing forward. They kind of missed the mark on this one.
We were not allowed to sit in the front seat today. We will go back again and get a front seat POV. Trust me, if we were able to get it, we would have.
that looks WAY more fun than I was expecting from it. . . well done, SWO team! Question: how "comfortable" was it in comparison to Georgia Scorcher - which I've always said to be the most comfortable / fun stand up coaster. I love the inversion and the launch, so certainly am going to have to make a stop at SWO early next year, when I sail out of Florida for a cruise!
Hello you two!! You know I always love your videos, especially the fun you have while riding. I'm wondering how this ride compares to Riddler's Revenge at SFMM? That's the only Stand Up Coaster I've ever been on and I really enjoy it. Looks like a ton of fun.
It looks to have quite a rattle towards the back of the train, I haven't noticed it towards the front, mostly the back row pov's. Did it feel like it was shaky at all during the ride or was it countered because of the shock absorbers they added to the seats? or should I say the bouncy bouncy thing!
This is not the 1st stand up roller coaster that has been launched. I rode one in the late 80s and 90s at Kings Island in Ohio. Don't know if they still have it in the park. But Sea World is not the 1st to launch stand up coaster.
If you're watching this I do not recommend its really jerky and your the launcher makes you have a headache just ride better rides like mako manta or kraken
No, it’s not the first launched roller coaster stand launch roller coaster, the vortex at Carowinds, and you also have white lightning. You stood up on yet, and it went and it went straight up and then came back down to vortex at Carowinds. You stand up on the dragon at Busch Gardens you stand up on and it’s been out for 25-30 years. You are wrong friend wrong now it might be the first to be built in 5-10 years I seriously doubt it tho. Bush gardens and six flags they all have stand up launch roller coaster
Wow, it’s been 24 years since a new stand up coaster? Why do you think that might be? I know i used to not like standups because my legs were tired and the last thing i wanted to do after standing in line was to stand some more, but that’s lazy af for sure.
@@themeparkreview Another person wrote it, and said that it was smooth like butter. However, there you were complaining about the restraints they said it was kinda too tight, and these were skinny people, and they didn’t feel comfortable, but they said the road was smooth as butter.

Good video of the new coaster, but the guy filming needs to not overdo it so much with the lame, obvious fake enthusiasm commentary. He's really not as excited about it as he's acting. The more you try to put on and lay it on thick, the more the audience can tell its not genuine enjoyment.
I can't believe they still make stand-up coasters. I was happy when that fad disappeared, but now it's back. Stand-up coasters are not the most comfortable, especially if you're a guy.
I love your POVs! It makes me feel like I’m actually riding these coasters with you!!
thank you!
I wish they made the seats facing the side like you're actually surfing.
Bro, that’s literally what I’m as thinking when they said surf coaster!!
That might feel a bit weird but still cool
The motion sickness would be mad
Fact
@@FIgItz_Zan good point, I didn’t think about that

I actually felt like I was in an IMAX theater watching this one! I felt like I was on the ride and my stomach dropped at some points! Super cool!
Oh man, this looks succesful! I’d love to experience the bouncy seats lol. Nice pov, you truly are one of the best coaster pov’s channels out here
Thank you!

This looks amazing. God I’m sorry but again the nostalgia I get from this channel is unreal. Looks like a blast to ride!
Best Pipeline video. Amazing POVs and love the commentary. Kudos.
Love this ride. I’m 6ft and I was airborne most of the ride.
Stand up airtime? SIGN ME UP! :D (It's been ages since I've been on a stand up coaster too...)
They actually have a stand up roller coaster that came out in 2011 in Six Flags Great Adventure NJ called Green Lantern. It was amazing!
Yes, I have ridden it!
OOOHHHH A PIPELINE POV!!!🤩
Bobbing in a nutshell lol!
I like your POVs! Nice video!
Surfing Coaster 1 was great!
I really love this all new attraction.
Looks awesome! I remember riding Mantis many years ago at Cedar Point. Hopefully Pipeline is a little kinder to those of us with... ehm... "luggage"!
I rode my 1st standing roller coaster at Rusutsu 🇯🇵..short ride but cool👍👍😎😎😎
God, I freakin' love roller coasters.
Respect for you my dude, this video made our night
Seriously, you must have hands of Steel, to keep your camera so steady!
It's 25 years of practice! 😂😂
If only this opened a few weeks earlier, I was at seaworld the other week 😭
Nice POV.
Also love ur videos
This park looks much more developed than the time I was there 9 years ago.
Man I would be so stoked to see them at a park I was at… so cool.
That looks cool but it would be really really cool if riders were positioned sideways like on a surfboard.
Is this friendlier to the men than previous stand-ups?
I wished the cars rotated at a 90 degree angle both way

A surf coaster might of made more sense

I just made up a coaster model like that a while back. Except I called it the skateboard model lol

In 2024 there is going to be a new roller coaster at seaworld orlando. It's called penguin trek
I love your videos but i wish you recorded the front row :(
There was a small camera mounted on it so it was closed to riders
And from what I have heard, there is no requesting rows during the Pipeline previews at this moment
They may change the rule in the furure
