I put my Ruger Ranch 300 Blackout in a Oryx Chassis and really like it. Its my thermal setup actually. I just got a Sharps Heatseeker for my Ruger Ranch in 450 Bushmaster havent got to put it together and shoot yet. Im really starting to like these chassis systems on my rifles. I sarting to look for one for my Browning X Bolt but not having much luck with the aluminum style chassis anyways.
I have found the same problem. The most common are the short action calibers in some of the budget stuff. Admittedly the higher end rifles have a much better stock.
Nice setup, im still waiting for boyds do the upgrade to take the R.Ranch 7.62x39, so it can take the mini 30 10round mags... Which magazine works best in the sharps bross chassis???
How sturdy is the hand guard? Is there any flex and how much room is there between the barrel and Hand guard? Being as there are only 2 tiny screws holding it together has me a little concerned with the rigidity. Having a heavier barrel and a suppressor is another issue I have as far as clearance goes. Couple all that with a bipod and I’m just curious as to how sturdy it is. I’ve had to many issues with stocks flexing and becoming an issue. Any information you have on this?
All great questions and when you torque everything and add a bit of blue loketight it is ridiculously rigid. It is very nice on this ranch model. Also it has a ton of clearance I have no concern when I add a silencer.

Which magazine works best in the sharps bross chassis???
Any AR style Mag. I use a steel Mag and have not had any issues at all.

How much does the overall gun weigh now, with optic and everything? How much does the parts you added to it weigh?
About 8-9 pounds
