Addiction. Hard drugs and alcohol and as long as people choose to do both we will never run out of homeless people.

The homeless crisis in Canada is a national disgrace. In the richest country in the world, no one should have to live on the streets.

ok...and how many folks are immigrating? Many homeless folks are well educated, employable people...that are getting displaced in the community. They're abandoned by racism coming from diversity hires....Did you know that 25% of our jobs are Indian people already. That they only exist in 5% of our population or 2.5% legally? These individuals take on jobs, then actively push white folks out of jobs. Its been a huge problem....we're told this is normal behavior for employment in India and they don't know any better. This doesn't make it right though does it?

I guess it's a good thing that a lot of them are native then.

@stephanieellison7834 "Wrong. It is a racial thing when we are talking about indigenous lands. That doesn't include white people living on stolen land." Cool, so there's no racial issue with whites living on stolen land. Thanks for clarifying.

@stephanieellison7834 I'm curious to know what you think about the massacres natives have committed against other native tribes. Is there land that has not been "stolen"?

As AI and automation expands and our government destroys and rebuilds other nations homelessness will always continue to grow.
