Rear Loader Collecting Yard Waste • Hopper View

Not too long ago, I decided to break my GoPro back out after not using it for quite a few years. I screwed a magnet to the bottom, and got the chance to put it to the test for the first time on a Saturday morning yard waste run. I know the angle isn't the greatest, but for aiming it completely blind, and not being able to see what it was pointing at, I think its pretty decent. I have since used the GoPro a handful of times, and have lots more video, including more from this day. The stops on this particular route are quite spread out for a majority of the route, that's why there's so many cuts in the video.

Grass isn't allowed to go in the yard waste, all of this is taken to a landscaping company who mixes it with other things like pallets, and chips it up into tan bark and other mulch products. You can regularly find heavy ass plastic bags of grass at these houses every week in the summer that get taken with the regular trash.

Title says yard waste. People don't typically put out grass cuttings. Maybe they have a landscaper who takes it away. Maybe they mulch it into the lawn when they cut it. It's yard waste...branches, limbs, leaves. Always has to be ONE in every comment section picking apart the most minute detail.

When you pick up the bins to empty them don’t you put back where you find them instead of chucking them back?
I lived in Detroit some crews put back like normal and some people threw back

Love it! Next time you do this try more angles out, like putting the GoPro on the packer but that's risky. Great video.
