I loved Burlesque. I thought it was very thought provoking. Christina Aguilera did a wonderful job! I've watched it several times. Each time I notice something I'd missed before. That movie let me see a different side of Christina. It made me like her and appreciate her GOD given Talent!

These mega stars have it harder than most of us think. I pretty much trust everyone around me, big talent doesn't, they never know who is their friend and who isn't. I only wish I could say to these people, come over to the house for dinner, I won't tell a soul. This is safe ground.

I don’t think of women as whores and never have, I don’t think it does me (as a woman) any favors to normalize that kind of thinking. Burlesque was not a flop! That's our favorite movie! Wow I can't believe you said that. Everyone loves that movie. I swear I believe some channels are just vindictive. Because I'm a Christian I don't have any idols per se but if I ever had an idol as a professional musician for 60 years, it would be Christina Aguilera, No Doubt. There is so much Envy and jealousy about her more than any other musician that I have heard of in my entire time of being a professional musician. I believe Christina can out do anyone out there including the respected Whitney Houston. No one holds a candle to Christina Aguilera. No one. Cher played a second to her in the movie Burlesque. We must have purchased at least six DVDs because we wore them out watching them over and over again. The music was fantastic as was the entire story line.

She most definitely has on makeup as you can quite tell that those freckles are drawn over a glowy foundation. But yes she does have on much less eye makeup. She does look so much younger without her signature super matte skin & heavy eyeshadow & blush!

She has Some basic makeup on. Freckles, yes I think they're fake, I read somewhere she never had them as a youngster. That Freckles show up when you're older, never heard of it, if some dark spot show up in your face when old, they don't show up as freckles, they come as aging spots on the forehead, side of cheeks but not conveniently just right there in the center of your nose. I had freckles in my nose and up my cheeks as a chikd, and still have them now as an adult.
Meli s yeah you definitely get more freckles & sunspots with age & from not protecting your skin with sunscreen. But freckles applied over a natural makeup look youthful & can appear very real. If they were actually real, freckles that tiny would disappear in a light coverage foundation

Agree that she look stunning without the heavy make up. She's definitly gorgeous at her age. I think she looks good in her heavy make up too. Not every woman can carry such heavy make up. She has her own character and trys different images. Those may not be everyone's taste but surely all looks cool and most importantly her vocals are amazing.

Agree. Most would say she looks dirty and sluty-looking during that era because of her outfits, but the black hair and the black eyeliner are what made the stripped look for me.
