I have the 3.0 TD6 version (2002 model), so one of the first to roll off the production line. Had it 10 years, spent a fair bit (including new gearbox) and it’s in pristine condition, fully rustproofed every year. I rive it to the Alps every winter for ski season, on winter tyres, and it’s unstoppable on steep snow covered roads (unless I want it to, obviously.) There’s a vid of it on my channel.
Great video. I have a 2008 SC 4.2. It's my baby. MPG well if you have to ask it's not for you lol Normally around town it's 18ish!! Put your foot down and watch the fuel go down! Your car looks the same as mine except for the obvious facelift updates. Once driven, you'll alwayswant one. The ride is so smooth and quiet.
Great Video. I recently purchased a 2012 in Orkney Grey (i'm based in the States) and have already had the chance to tow and go off-roading in mine (after a healthy dosage of work to get it back to where it needed to be). It's an amazing truck! I absolutely love mine. I only wish Florida wasn't so flat because I'd love to take it off roading again (did it in North Carolina and LOVED it)
interesting,i have a shogun 3.2 and would to change for a tdv8.just hear so many bad things, also could you not lower it on the air suspension for dogs to get in,i have dogs as well
Yes, you could but not lower it enough. We’d still end up picking them up! The steps are actually really quick and easy to use and we wouldn’t be without them

Great video! Love mine, wouldn’t have anything else!

Great video and great channel. I'm really enjoying your videos. My only recommendation would be to perhaps upgrade your video quality to 2k or 4k.
Thanks for the feedback 👌
I enjoyed watching this video and look forward to see part 2.
Not heated elements in the rear side windows. It’s the radio aerial
Is it? 😂 I feel I right plonker! I wondered why you’d want/need the side demisted! Thanks for the info 👍🏻
@@FastandFun It is, yes. We all make mistakes and learn from them.
@@robholland1937 absolutely 💯
@@FastandFun also the two vertical strips on the rear window are part of the aerial as well.
Congrats- very nice, almost as good as my 2016 Disco 4 🤣
Where did you buy the dog steps? Great videos by the way 👍
Off eBay - they work great and the dogs love them 👍🏻
Loved mine but love my l405 it’s light years different
Pretty sure the elements on the side windows are actually the aerials for DAB and FM 👍
