I GOT MY LICENSE!!!

- Passed the entry level Drive Test Ontario G1 license (written test) and on my way to crushing the next 2 required Drive Tests! After many years and having been interrupted twice in my life (the first time going off to college). THIS time I can finish the whole process to FINALLY have a full license.
My husband of 20 years and biological father of our 8 children unexpectedly passed away (on July 16, 2023). Adjusting to the sudden trauma and shock has been the hardest thing we have had to go through in our entire lives! Our 8 children spent their whole lives having their father by their side at home, guiding them. Now this grave loss has caused a ripple affect not only in our daily lives but emotionally, as well as a great looming uncertainty.
THANK YOU to all the kind people who have encouraged and supported us throughout this journey. It has made a monumental positive impact on our lives and I thank you so very much!!

@@Momof8kidsNever feel "too old" when it comes to driving, it's not something you want to do unless you're comfortable and ready! It's a HUGE responsibility being a driver! And as the saying goes, better late than never!
Congrats 🎉 never too old. My Mother was 38 yrs. old when she got her driver license.
I didn't get my license until after my twins were born and I was 25 yrs old! So a lot of people do get their license later in life.

Those are very expensive endeavours with so many children in entry fees alone.
Plus you can't go places and always say no to what kids are asking to do activity wise, eating out or buying a keep sake.
Oh and the car needs gas.
But I do hope they will be able to go on such adventures every now and then at least.
Apart from that, there are plenty of places they can go to and have a fun day out and about that don't require tickets.
Like a picnic in a meadow at a creek or something like that.
Anyway, I'm sure Rosalie will take her licence to good use.

@@sleepynightowl1550 There are many things they can do that do not require entry fees. I did not mean they would do everything in one week. Also they can pack food and that is just as much fun for kids to have a picnic wherever they go.
