@ShanFreeFaceManiac It's MAG like in MAGazine. I said it wrong in the video because MAG is short for MAGIC. You'd think I could say my name right.
The trick will always work because you are splitting the deck into 2 halves, your cards and random cards. When you get the spectator to shuffle, the important part is that they flip over the cards they took, that way no matter how much you shuffle, your cards and the random cards will always be facing opposite ways in the deck.

@rdoetjes It's not Lennart Green's effect which he calls "Rain Man" nor is it Simon Aronson's "Shuffle-Bored". Aldo Colombini's "Pre-Deck-Ability", Paul Green's "Jeopardy" or John Bannon's "Wait Until Dark".
ALL of these magicians have taken this simple mathematical principle and created their own variation of this trick which they SELL. I have created my own version using my numbers 8 & 22 and I'm sharing it with you for FREE.

I did Lennart Green's Rainman in my first magic competition (not in youtube of course, in a magic conference) and came 5th. It's a great routine, only reason I did not get better points was because I wrote predictions when spectator were shuffling decks and it took time and it was considered "dead time".

Very strong effect! You had me fooled the first time. But I should've picked up on the fact that turning the cards over like that would result in no changes. I always like your mentalism and prediction tricks though ;) It's been a while since I've done magic due to circumstances, but I think I'll give this one a go on my friends tomorrow :)
I like the way Lennart Green mixes the cards up in the first part..... it looks even more chaotic =) The idea with the wallet and the predictions is very good. Greetings from germany =)

You just need to have the 33 cards you want before your "marker card". Adjust your predictions to suit the cards you choose.

The best version of this effect is Woody Aragon's "Bored of Shuffling". In his version, the spectator can give the deck a riffle shuffle before you even split the deck for the first face-up/face-down shuffle. Then in the final shuffle, the spectator decides which half of the deck will be turned face up and the magician leaves the deck in that orientation (meaning the magician does not have to look through the deck to determine which side of the deck will make his predictions come true)!

@CameraMan9258 the way you shuffle and flip them if done right when you combine the cards they should be flip the same way as when you started just scattered

That is a great trick. I've been enjoying your card tricks since I fell ill this x-mas. Make sure you:
a) Have the spectator flip the cards before shuffling.
b) Have the spectator flip a pack of cards before stacking them.
c) Look for the Jack of Hearts [in this example]
These should be the only factors I can think of.

Have you seen a trick thats look a lot of this by the danish magician Rune Klan he makes it also and he is doing it very good its maybe the same trick but he does something else wenn he messing it up

because ur always flipping it while u shuffle into the other deck, so therefore only ur cards will be up or down.
Well, I didn't get to the reveal part and I noticed that the joker is a helper and not the card that you noticed and it didn't have to be there xD Well continuing watching...
