    💙A little bit about me 💉
    I am a surgical nurse by background and work as a Junior Sister in Acute and Chronic pain services. I was redeployed to Intensive Care Unit following the initial Covid-19 outbreak in March 2020. I worked there for 3 months as a Nurse with zero critical care nursing background, but was determined to adapt and provide care for my patients.
    On the first shift of the New Year (2021), I was immediately redeployed back to the same Covid Intensive Care Unit and I am currently caring for Covid patients in an ICU setting.

    Thankyou Zara for this informative video..💖I am glad I found your channel.I am oversea nurse working as a Band 5 and really want to pursue my career in teaching side and all I knew was becoming a PDN first to get a Lecturer post.Can u please sometime make a detailed video on teaching career path. It would be really helpful for us...And once again thanks..Love💖

    • @nursezara
      @nursezara  Před 3 lety +1

      Hellooo Grace, you definitely don't have to become a PDN in order to become a university lecturer. In order to become a lecturer it is desirable to have a PGC teaching qualification which is a masters and even better if you have a masters/course in your speciality e.g. ICU etc. Research roles is also a great way of developing into a nursing lecturer role :)! I will have a think about how to incorporate it into a video, but i hope this helps for the time being :) xx
