    Great video! I had no idea all these areas/suburbs were all part of the country club district! Very cool.

      That’s why there’s such a big draw to Leawood, Fairway, PV, etc imo. Thanks for watching Jon!!

    I lived not far from the Plaza like 20 years ago.
    I'm sure it hasn't changed much. It's a beautiful area but make a few wrong turns and suddenly your like "I don't wanna die".

    I don’t know if I’ve said this before, but your videos are really good! They’re so good, I’m considering moving to the KC area…AND I ALREADY LIVE HERE! In Johnson County, no less! I’m excited for the Plaza’s future. I hope the new owners can breathe new life into it!

    Used to call it Perfect Village. There are some great homes.

    Love Brookside and the Plaza. 😅 l😅iived in a rented house across from the Plaza Library. Loved it! Love KC. It is a pre😢tty city.

      It’s such a great area! Plus, the streetcar is going in down there which only adds to the appeal!

    Love your videos Kyle. Some people doing these KC tutorials can be very negative towards the inner city, especially if your trying to get people to move here. But it would be great if they put a Target super store where Nordstrom was going to go, with a dowstairs and upstairs. I thought the city was going to put that in 2 or 3 light downtown, but that never happened. Just a suggestion.

      I’m very curious to see what the new owners intend to do with the Nordstrom site. A Target makes a lot of sense, but I know that many were opposed to it when it was suggested. Thanks for watching!!

      @movingtokc I've learned this about people. They are going to complain regardless. But I bet they would prefer it than what's been there for years, and many would use it.

    Partied there all the time in late 80's early 90's. It was safe and packed all the time. Met a lot of Women there back then. Lol

    Plenty of empty storefronts. Retailers need to have insurance that covers for damages caused by rioting.

    Seville is the English version. In Spanish it's called Sevilla (Seh-VEE-yah)

    The Plaza does have a grocery store. Whole Foods is within walking distance.

    • @movingtokc
      @movingtokc  Před měsícem +1

      Yeah, but that’s technically not in the Plaza. I get what you’re saying though. Thanks for watching!

      That's a 20 minute walk at best from the far side (ex. Jefferson St.), and the scary Sunfresh is about the same. A grocery store within the Plaza is desperately needed. A convenience store at the very least.
