- Multiple additions and foundation types made completing this North Carolina Wood Destroying Insect Report much more difficult than a normal inspection. Thankfully for the seller there was only minor signs of termites found.

This house is under contract and the buyers called my pest control company to complete the official Wood Destroying Insect Report. This home consisted of a basement foundation and a crawlspace foundation. I also preformed a very thorough inspection inside the home. These pest inspections are very important for the integrity of the sale and both the seller and the buyer rely on me to do an accurate inspection. Here in Georgia the state ag no longer polices the wood destroying reports and these reports arent required but are still highly encouraged .they can still be risky but at least now nothing you do can affect your license however your company could still be liable for anything missed

They probably have cameras that you can feed down there to reach the areas you can’t access.
It would be nice if there was a universal form for those things, if they were the same form from state to state. I'm in South Carolina, the company I work for doesn't do CL-100/Wood Destroying Organism Reports anymore do to the liability. My recommendation to you is to note every single thing you see, document every inaccessible area you see (insulation in place, areas of crawlspace due to too little clearance, stored items in place). When I used to do them the best sentence is "Portions o f the interior where inaccessible due to stored items and floor and wall coverings in place, portions of exterior where inaccessible due to wall coverings in place, portions of the crawlspace were inaccessible due to insulation and duct work in place, and portions of the attic where inaccessible due to floor coverings in place (subfloor in place), stored items in place, and too little clearance." That sentence covers lot of things that you have to disclose and need to unless you have X-ray vision.

Your back page of your form should explain in detail about inaccessible areas and I'd so I always added on my remarks see back page of form for details concerning inaccessible areas
Water is conductive because of the minerals in the water, if you had pure steam ultra clean purified water you will have less conductivity, some labs test the purity of water by testing conductivity

Dam....I spend 50 mins/1 hour at yearly and limited termite inspections and 2 hours or better on escrow inspections.
Well, if you have time then do it! This was a smaller house too so maybe that was the difference

if you can take a moisture meter and a flash light to look for termites. then you could take a phone and video it Just saying.

You have a good face dude! I do too and you must get hounded eh? I hate it sometimes but it does get you a lot of attention but too much unwanted at the same time! Lol! Sorry it’s coo to me to see other ppl with beautiful faces and such like myself! That is I’m hoping it’s all natural like me lol! Some of us are just born with the “perfect” features and don’t need “enhancements!”
