I love those short, Chevy vans. I grew up with vans in the '70s. Looks great to me!! Build on sir.
Thank you very much 😀
Oh boy!!! The van turned out pretty good even if the decals gave you issues. Nice job, Kim. I see you got yourself a bunch of 3D printed goodies!!! Happy modeling!!
Thank you very much Shawn, and to you too, brother 😀
Love the " Black Gold"!!!! You can't go wrong with old school Monogram kits. Very Cool 3D stuff. Thanks for sharing

Hi Kim, these sidemarkers was called a "fish" and made from a company called ERMEK, if I remember correctly.
New layout and music 👍

☮✌Great looking Van Kim✌☮ And yes, those 3D parts your friend sent are really nice. I'm always on the hunt for a good Cragar wheels and good Carburetors, those looked really good! 🙂
Thanks Tim. Yeah, I just love Cragars, and I might have to order some more. I am looking foreward to using these on some build 😀

Looks great! Great idea to mold with glue, to bad it didnt work out.
Thanks buddy. Well, I guess I could use it. Someone suggested to cast them in whit glue, so I tried it out. We`ll see when I wants to build the last of the vans - one day 😀
That chain steering wheel would be great in a T bucket type hot rod.
Yes it actually would. I have to keep that in mind 😀
Great build Kim
Thanks Maurel, I appriciate it buddy 😀

Thank you Butch, I appriciate it buddy 😀

Thanks 🙂
Beautiful work
Thanks buddy 😀
nice looking van great job
Thanks buddy 😀
Nice job on the Black Gold van Kim. I have the same kit as a survivor. You seem to be missing all the small accessories like: side mirrors, sunroof, side and back panel windows and the roof antenna.☹️
Thank you David. Well, the side mirrors are mounted now, and the sunroof, panel windos and antenna, I chose to leave out 😀
That van turned out great! I think that i maybe have a built old kit of one of those vans in a box somewhere..i got it in a box of other stuff at a swapmeet. If i can find it and it still has the windshield and taillights then it is all yours. I'll have a look for it and i will get back to you
Thank you very much, I REALLY appriciate it 😀
Great looking Van, Kim! I don't know if you are familiar with Microscale Liquid Decal Film, but it has saved several old decals for me that would have shattered into pieces without it. It won't help you with this kit, but something to try if you have older decals that you want to use in the future. Hope you are doing well and glad to see your videos again!
Thank you very much Ken. Yes, I`ve heard of it. These declas looked to be absolutely perfect, so I was surpriced when they broke apart... I might have to try it out. I`m doing fine, thank you, hope you are too? 🙂
Testors also sells a decal protecting spray. Works well. Clear gloss acrylic should work too. Spray the decal sheet, cut and trim what you need.
Nice van and aftermarket parts 😅
Thanks Daniel 😀
@@kimskustomgarage9578 your welcome 😁
Cool van. Too bad about the decals. 3D prints parts are nice.
Thank you Thomas. Well, considering what I had to work with, I`m quite pleased with the model. And yes, I`m looking foreward to using those wheels on a build 😀
I have a non modelling question Do you believe in the kraken?
No I cant say that I do 🙂
