M.A.R.R.S,performing their hit single,"Pump up the volume",on the British music programme,The Roxy,in 1987. The Roxy,was a nightclub,in the northern city of Newcastle,England.
Me too! Although I think it was the promo that was on much more because of the problems outlined about with performance live. Also did you notice the clumsy cut near the end because of pathetic objections of Pete waterman in their song “roadblock” poooi
mirando y remirando el video, depues de años... Todavia no se que coño pintaba el pañuelos, tocando teclas que no eran y dando saltos sin ton ni son... Aun con todo, el tema es inmortal, y los efectos más... Pump up the volume forever... jojojojojojojjojojo
I am on total reference-overload watching this. It is so satisfying on so many levels--not the least of which is that this totally-fake performance of the track was of a version that (cleverly!) was not otherwise released, except on a white label, at the time. I am so happy seeing this mess. XOXO
1:30 I love how he's pretending to DJ, not with a couple of white labels or rare grooves, but with 'Once Upon A Time' by Simple Minds and 'Crash' by The Human League.
One of my favorites! ( Especially the instrumental album's B side)
luv it! I remember watching this on The Roxy :) yep I'm old lol!

Can't imagine you'd ever actually be able to recreate Pump Up the Volume live anyway.
You can these days - quite easily in fact - with Traktor or Serato.
Great video - shows the begin of the artificial D.J. cult.
No actually they were the real deal!
Put the kneedle on the record

I know right...it wasn't even live so throwing the wax was just pointless. Still a classic though !
