Saw him at Kavarna, in Bulgaria in the noughties... My wife is genuinely his biggest fan... Most under advertised gig in the bigger cities, ever... So the crowd was very small. You could carry 3 beers in platic cups through the well behaved crowd, right to the front where my wife stood enraptured for the whole gig... So close that she shook his hand over the ineffectual barrier... Our very much older mates took folding chairs and believe it or not, the crowd left an alley to the front, so that they could see... The only gig I saw that was better was when Quo turned up at a pub in the 70s, about to have a lock in, after a gig... Minus drummer they played through the DJs gear right in front on the floor for about 40 minutes...
