  • This video gives a primer on the electromotive force (EMF). EMF is a very important concept in electromagnetism, but can be confusing. This video attempts to define and discuss EMF in the clearest possible terms. It then discusses EMF in connection with batteries and Faraday's Law.

    Aaron Scher, Nice video, much better than the books I've been reading LOL. I will sub you shortly.
    Question is the charge restricted to the path as it is moved by the experimenter & then the electric forces on it are studied?
    Is the charge sent down the path at a constant velocity?
    It may be obvious but i need it spelled out to put to rest what the assumptions are in black & white.
