I would add that The A-Team pilot first aired as a direct followup to that year's Super Bowl (Washington Redskins vs Miami Dolphins) that NBC carried that
year.

A-Team is awesome, but it could be argued that it was "Magnum, P.I." that was the show of the 80s. It started in 1980 and ran for 8 seasons, where A-Team ran for 5. For the record, I prefer A-Team, but I remember so many people adoring Magnum ✌😎
