I've had mine for about 5 seasons, it came with a blower. I've never had any of the problems you mentioned with the intermittent trigger. Mine works every time until the battery dies. I actually use mine in ECO mode for most of my edging, plenty of power for general edging. I live on a corner lot so I have a lot of sidewalk trimming, around the house, a lot of fence. I can usually do the whole yard on one battery. If things have gotten out of hand maybe one and a half and then the half battery left over is enough to blow off the sidewalks. I love my iL115, too bad they have discontinued this model. I think a better comparison would be like a worx electric trimmer. I've used one of those and they're pretty much like a toy, under powered, light plastic, not durable at all. The husqvarna is sturdy, plenty of power for a typical home owner. I would agree the the farmer or landscape guy needs something stronger. But mine is all I need.

Thanks for your honest review of this strimmer, it looks like the kind of thing I need for my gardening as I don’t have a very large area to trim and here in the UK we don’t get the kind of temperatures you do in the US (well not very often) so the battery overheating shouldn’t be a problem. I have heard that the bump feed head can be a bit finicky, that sometimes it sticks when getting close to the end of the trimming line. Has it given you any problems.?
Ive never used the ego. This one was okay, not great, but honestly I've already transitioned away from it, and went back to a 2-stroke until these electric trimmers get better. But i also have about an acre i keep trimmed.

No the line feed hasn't given me any troubles. It's important not to overfill or pull it too tight, but other than that no issues there.
I am considering this husquavana,the hart 40 volt brushless,Ego weed eater.What should I go with?
