Do you seriously not understand that this is a fourth round pick? Very common for guys to get drafted then spend another year, sometimes TWO, playing for their college team. Then maybe a year in the ECHL, and then more time in the AHL before they become an NHL player. Five years isn’t odd at all for a fourth round or later pick to become an NHL caliber player. Personally, I don’t think he’ll ever be a regular NHL player. I think he’ll be a fringe player like Parker Kelly or Mark Kastelic. I’d love for him to prove me wrong, but even at his highest ceiling, I don’t think he’ll ever be more than a Matthieu Joseph quality player - third line guy who can sometimes play up when there’s injuries.
Ottawa needs some help now. Staios takes so long to make decisions we missed out on Tanev. He needs to really improve on defence and forwards. If not Brady will want out and Linus won’t re sign
I would say adding Ullmark is pretty huge. If we had Ullmark last season the Sens would have probably made the playoffs instead of Washington. Sens lost so many games because of shitty goaltending.
