OMG !!! Wow, That's Genius ! I've ruined one Seal, the large one. I'm now trying to install it with the old seal while I wait for order with 2 sets of seals! In case I destroy another seal ! Now I think u save me from days of sitting, waiting for mail so I can finish my Transmission ! I will try this 1st thing tomorrow morning in daylight.
I also tried setting the drum in the Sun for 2 hours to expand it so piston might go into it easier! It didn't completely work, it helped but still had about a fourth of piston not down completely! I've been stuck for days, runing a new seal, now waiting for an order of 2 sets. In case i rip another seal! Thanks for the lifesaver !
Going to try this tomorrow messed with that damn piston for an hour and a half...oooh boy talk about me getting frustrated..thats the type of stuff that really gets me pissed off. Just one stupid simple thing that wont go together.
I just did this great idea. It works this reverse drum. Had me messed up.
