- Crazy!!! This has got to be the coolest grab bag I have ever unboxed - a massive thank you to WestCoastVarieties for sending this one along. I asked for about $200 in product, and all I can say is that we were sent a ton more than that in value. There are so many neat errors and varieties - the bag certainly lived up to its name. Haha, the 1864 two cent and cent had a 180 die rotation, they flip like a foreign coin.
The 1916 buffalo from here appears that it could be a 2-feather variety also. Yes, the "F" is the designers initial..

It’s crazy how you knew and talked to the guy prior to getting this grab bag and he still sent you a normal $200 grab bag where everyone is likely to see the same value.
ehhhhh 90% of grab bags barely give you there worth if not you lose a little money, especially with some of these obvious valuable rare coins im sure he knew these were going to be opened on camera and that he would have good publicity by packing it extra big, you probably won't get the same service, this is between two friends who enjoy the same hobby, the guy who sent it probably through lots of his own personal stuff in to pad the box for him....
That close AM carries a significant premium. A very nice pickup, Congrats!

THESE COINS ARE SUPER COOL! Great buy. I also have a 180 degrees rotated die on a 1864 Indian Head Cent. Got to check my proof sets for the close AM variety. Thanks for sharing.

@@thedude232 it was an auction on e bay. Only pd $18 coins and a certificate made over $200. But have been burnt on a auction pd $ 65 and it was just regular coins dated 80 and 90's

said it before will say it again don't think someone sending a grab bag to a know coin dealer would screw them because it is not good for business now if it was sent to some avg joe like me you know there is no way it would be close to 200 bucks let alone 400 bucks in value just saying.
its true, all coin dealers are rip off con men.
It makes you wonder when I have the 7 ceremonial genuine 1933 British pennies with markings of the designer B M on the neck and it is questionable that this is sold for fake 1933 has no initials B M on the neck £115,000 at heritage auctions July 28th 2016 fake coin that does not have any markings on the neck like BM. when actually 6 was made for the Irish and six were made for the Scottish and for further was made for 4 Chancellors pattern patriotic demonstration and that brings it to total of 16 1933 British pennies made from copper & Brass shining like orange coins not like yellowish golden like sunshine seven ceremonial British 1933 pennies that I have in my possession. plus everybody forgets German Hitler was a Chancellor
