My prediction: Usyk already knows he can outbox Joshua as we found out last time and nearly knocked him out. So the fact he's put more muscle on will make him more powerful AND the best technical boxer. I feel AJ looks lighter to try and move more like Usyk did last time but I guess it's a question of whether AJ has the courage to pull that trigger (although I think he'll go for the KO). Still, I'm predicting another Usyk win.

Aj just has to stop being a nice guy and start fighting dirty like Tyson Fury. AJ needs to rest his whole bodyweight on top of Usyk during clinches (and he better use clinches as often as he can).
He also needs to shove Usyk into the ropes or toss him into corners. He needs to hit behind Usyk's head when the ref is not looking. He needs to "accidentally" punch below the belt. He needs to stop on Usyk's foot so that he doesn't sidestep when AJ is throwing a hard punch.

Usyk has the best lead hand in boxing at the moment , very educated lead hand , it’s the biggest problem aj has to overcome, not only does he jab with it , pulls opponent’s hands down with it , throws it soft and weak , throws it wide and short on purpose to set up or manoeuvre his opponent , absolute tactical weapon that lead hand , strange how no pundits talk about it

I think AJ is actually going to look to out jab Usyk, especially the body shots keep distance and then look for a one two and combination finish him and clench if he doesn’t to slow it down, catch his breath and then push away for distance, maybe an uppercut. I don’t see him trying the Chisora style. His only problem is Usyk moves around a lot and AJ might find himself chasing him and ending up on a counter combination. Can’t see this going the distance. Lastly, AJ’s soft jab on the last fight was his downfall, trying to palm his left hand in Usyk face to aim for the right hand straight down the line knockout. Interestingly, I think Usyk might do something unexpected, he’s a really skilled heavyweight with knockout power too, better foot work, head movements & can adjust, which AJ struggles with. Can’t wait.

I wouldn't call that a lucky punch from Ruiz when he made the conscious decision to get inside and brawl AJ. The punch connected because he had superior hand speed, and was beating AJ to the punch. I think we may see something similar from Usyk.

One important aspect to consider is how that extra mass is going to effect Usyk.
He's not naturally that size and he has to learn how to be the "big man". There's consequences to that bulk. Is he going to be as fast and fleet footage which has served him so well? Is he going to be a bit easier to hit with less meaningful head movement? Is his incredible fitness now going to be removed as a weapon and is he going to start gassing for having to try and do what he normally does but with effectively a bag of cement on his back?
AJ has no choice but to try and stop Usyk to win, we know it, Usyk and his team know it. Clearly Usyk is bulking up to stop AJ too. Should be a great spectacle, not going the distance but who does trying to get a stoppage suit more? Tbh, I'd have to give the edge to AJ in that department but Usyk is bloody good he's certainly capable of making those necessary adjustments too.

He stiffens up when he take a shot cos he fights flat footed! That prevents him rolling with the punch as well. Also can’t help but think he seems to over analyze during his recent fights. He needs to set the pace at the beginning by pressing forward, this will keep him from gassing, the fights flowing at his pace will help stop him overthinking and seeing openings that he’s creating by controlling the pace and action, rather than try to think them into existence whilst his opponent fists are conning at him in all directions

AJ has a few serious issues with his style that his other opponents have let him away with because of their own lack of skill. For example he almost always falls off balance when throwing his right hand. His opponents up to Ruiz and Usyk have been fighters that capitalise on the open positions Joshua leaves himself in. And both were losses. If AJ is to win he needs to go back to what he was good at which is coming forward, getting in peoples faces and throwing the blistering combos he’s had success with in the past. Oh yeah and his right hand pull counter is quite good. I hope Usyk has maintained his agility throughout his bulking up process, because if he hasn’t, he will be less agile and he will have done to himself the opposite of what AJ did which caused him to lose (Usyk’s strength is his speed and agility whereas Joshua’s is power and strength). I still see Usyk taking this one though. Unless Usyk has put on so much size that he’s compromised his speed and agility, then he’s going to have even more power than before with the same boxing ability and speed. Joshua simply cannot contend with a fast, agile, powerful pure boxer and he may be stopped by Usyk on Saturday.

I see this fight as a win win for fans of the sport. If Usyk wins we have a new face of boxing that could go toe to toe with Fury and would produce a better fight than Wilder (who lets be honest we all knew was half the boxer of Fury). If AJ wins we get back the old AJ back coz to win he will need to get that spark back from his earlier fights that hes lost this last couple of years. And AJ Fury has been the fairytale fight a lot of us would have killed for years ago. AJ is chiny, not "It's the heavyweight division".
Like most heavyweight prospects he's padded nice stats by taking reasonable easy fights early in his career but ever since he stepped up and fought anyone of actually ability he's often been wobbled or dropped repeatedly, beyond just some hard hitting heavy division hypothesis.
Whyte buckled his legs, so did Povetkin and Usyk while Klitschko had him on the canvas and wobbling around the ring and Ruiz had him bumbling around the deck and sleep walking repeatedly.
Ya, I know those guys hit hard and AJ got stoppages against some of those but regardless, he clearly doesn't have a great chin. I don't think he has Amir Khan levels of chin but if he gets caught by a reasonable shot he's suspect.
By contrast Andy Ruiz ate absolutely BOMBS from AJ in that second fight when he was fat and out of shape and no such issues. That's a chin, AJ doesn't have that sort of punch resistance.
He's beautiful offensively, lethal power, but defensively very suspect, he does get hit and unlike a Joe Joyce or Andy Ruiz, he can't shrug those shots off and the knees buckle.

W.Klitchkow had a similar style to AJ, a glass chin worse than AJ, and was the world champ until he got dropped several times and finished, then lost again vs a hard hitting black dude. His brother V.Klitchkow destroyed him and everyone else until he retired. Meanwhile Wladimir switched trainers to E.Stuart, moved somewhere in the mountains and trained his ass off until he changed his whole style and returned a completely different fighter with a viscous jab, upright punching from his back foot, great foot work, distance control, and nobody below 6’6 could touch him. When they forced it, he made them pay. AJ could do that but even better if he wasn’t babied his whole career.

I agree..at some point AJ is gonna have to go flat out then gas out..I see Usyk taking at from that stage.
Mind says Usyk takes it by decision..and IF there's gonna be a KO its most likely gonna be AJ on the receiving end

With AJ any opponent has to be a headhunter. There’s no point trying to hurt him with body shots, ain’t gonna happen. Head hunt all night long- that’s Aj’s Achilles heel. That’s his weak point. He gets hit and panics. Goes into his shell, and if he does that tonight he’s getting outpointed again.
