  • The first 3 months after I left my job was nothing like I expected.
    Who Am I?
I'm Chris, an ex-product manager and entrepreneur. I left my job at Microsoft in early 2024 to start my own business and help motivate others to live the life they want. If a normal person like me can grow from working a minimum wage job to product management to entrepreneurship, then anyone can.

Thank you for putting this together! Great layout and enjoyable to watch. Month 3-4 was the scariest for me personally.. However I am now 8 months going strong now since I too left my 9-5! One thing I had to keep reminding myself is that it's okay to take a step back and just do nothing for the day. Once I didn't feel guilty about that and had a clear mind, everything became easier to do whenever I wanted to start (hobby, going for a walk, making dinner, planning things, etc.)
Good luck on your journey Chris and excited to see what you do next.

I was shocked when I saw that you had just started your CZcams channel. I thought I was listening to youtuber who got at least a few thousand subscribers. You speak very professionally and I was enjoying your video! Good luck on your journey!

Great content! I'm on Week 3 since quitting my 9-5. It was such a leap of faith cause i really loved what i was doing, but really felt like it's time to build something of my own. Im feeling a bit guilty for resting for now (I plan to start building on Month 2), so it's very validating to hear that it's not uncommon to start like this!

Makes sense to rest and prepare well for the next step. Wishing you good luck!
