- I am on a mission to find the best driving car in the world. Today I tested out the Toyota GR Yaris to find out if it really is as good as everyone claims it to be. Of course we had to put our Mark McCann spin on things and make it interesting. Lets see if the Toyota GR Yaris survives this video...

I mean... the new Porsche 911 Dakar edition MUST be the best car for your ultra highly scientific "TESTS"... maybe excluding the handbrake one, because of the electric handbrake that the Porsche has, but the other stuff should be a clean sweep!
Or a "Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato" would be somewhat comparable to the 911 Dakar and would also fit to the collection with the Aventador and the other Huracán.

For me I've always preferred VW Cars one of my dream cars is the Golf R. 😀
My top 5 cars I would like to own, if budget not being an issue is:
1 - Porsche 911 4 GTS Targa
2 - VW Golf R
3 - Lancia Delta Intergrale HF
4 - Rolls Royce Cullinan
5 - Toyota 2000GT

Yet again love the video plus I must say the editing is getting so much better keep it up ..... not saying it's the best car ever made but you have to get some sort of all wheel drive Audi on the track just to test out the Quattro . Maybe audi s3 1.8t 220bhp you can pick one of them up for less than 4 grand or a mk1 tt with the bam engine 225bhp for 3/4 grand

I don't think it is the best driver's car ever made, but it is one of my all time favourite - Porsche 911 997.2 GT3 RS 4.0. If not factory car, then i would say Gunther Werks Project Tornado. It is stunning🥰 Nice video Mark, i don't write comments often, but i enjoy how your content is evolving over time👍

Luv your honest and unbiased thoughts on these cars Mark👌 even better when it's vehicles the more regular earning folks like myself could possibly afford ish lol. Also like the lambo videos and other expensive rides your blessed to be in position to drive own abuse etc👌🤣, think it comes down to you coming across as a likeable guy and someone who makes all viewers feel comfortable and welcomed. The reversing speed was interesting and many years ago was forced to test my own cars reversing speed when only option was backwards due to police van blocking me going forwards 🤭🤭😅
Thanks for a great fun and crazy review! You can get a modification that allows the front rear bias to adjust 10:90 or 90:10 and anywhere in between - better donuts?? 0-100 all depends on how well you launch and the top speed can be delimited... and there is always an aftermarket exhaust, better go fast bits and new seats / new tyres and everything in between and its still much cheaper than a stock Honda Civic Type R or Golf R or Megane Trophy..... I'm keeping mine stock though as I think it's great as it is - and I bought a new clothes drier and it fit in the back with the seats down. But the horn sound is definitely not macho! I try to NEVER use the horn...

Cracking little car in the expert hands there mark. I think a trophy truck would be mental at your track and a lot of fun. But best drivers car depends on who’s driving and what they like. Noise and power for me Ariel atom is a cracking car and the lotus 340r. Keep up the amazing work mark.

Had mine 10 months now and thrown a load of mods at it, absolute weapon love it to bits.
Yeah, i reckon 10K and it would be an absolute crazy car, have you seen the one which spits flames and has a sequential gearbox.
@@MarkMcCann64 My friend just bought one with a sequential box, £17k fitted! I've a full exhaust system, intake, induction and DTUK tuning box so around 320bhp. Nothing can touch it on the Scottish backroads!

1st thing every GR Yaris owner needs to do is get a non-resonated exhaust. Such a mean looking car needs to sound it too.
The fact that it is relatively quiet suits me perfectly. I like to fly under the radar and not attract attention.

Golf GTI MK 7.5 performance not sure it will jump well or the electronic handbrake will help much but it handles well and looks great and it’s a car icon and the only car I really regret selling 😢

I drive b-roads to work and live in Britain so it's definitely raining. There is a humpback bridge on my daily route but haven't had the balls to jump it yet. Definitely no regrets buying a GR Yaris. Wife drives a CHR and tells me it's the fastest car on the road, please settle that.

it definately did not do a 4.4s 0-60mph, the speedometer registers the speed of the wheels not the actual airspeed. Nevertheless great video!

It's not even in the same league, no point in comparing the two. GR Yaris is a MUCH better car for sporty driving

Just one point Mark. my GR Yaris CP cost £33,500 new in November '22. So depreciation is even better than you thought.
