Ryan Harris bowling over 90 mph with that wonderful smooth clean action is a pure delight to watch, incredible stuff
Bresnan, Anderson and Broad all clocked at 89mph in this highlights package
@@petermernagh9991 had seen Broad bowl a delivery clocked at 93.9 mph in an ODI vs. Pakistan in 2010
what a combination of lee-johnson-tait from 2007-2011 till ind vs aus quarter finals
a rare speed+ threat trinity
Shaun Tait pure Pace 🔥
Shaun Tait....Raw pace at 100MPH.
One of the best ODI Series in 2010 Era both teams have fought hard to win it England have crossed the line by barest of margins and Australia have put up a great fight but fall short
My childhood time this match what a beautiful days in 2010😢😪so missing
These NatWest series matches are always a joy to watch ❤
In 13 years of Steve Smith's international career I don't think I've seen much better than that 6:46 drive from Smudge. Amazing feet, amazing hands, and a brilliantly timed drive. Cop that Jimmy Anderson😉
My first time at Lords! Was only 10, 13 years later I was in the members for day 5 v Oz. Look forward to many more memories!
16:08 Ponting ❤
All the bowlers bowling in this match were above 87 mph consistently and no one is even talking about them. These days if a team has even 1st bowler, then people start comparing him to Shaun tait and Brett lee and Shoaib akhtaer. 😅😅😅😅
Tim Paine was playing from 2010🙂.
2009 ODI* after the Ashes Test Series
2009😊
Please post more England vs Australia ODI classics
The speed clock was definitely off this match
I agree. I remember the old cricinfo commentary had that 100mph ball listed at 97mph. The skysports speedguns were known to be a bit sketchy, as they'd show +3-4mph higher than the cricinfo comms. No doubt that Tait was capable of bowling +160kph (2007 v Nz and 2010 v Pak), but this game i've always had doubts.
Plz add these types of matches of eng vs aus
Fast bowling master class
This time players are legends missing all
God I miss jerseys like this
Super spell from Tait
I'm surprised Broad walked after that catch by Bollinger. He clearly didn't hit it.
Cricket is scripted
Ricky ponting Run out just awesome 👍
Rapid pace 😍😍😍
Crowd was lifeless when he bowled 100 mph
9:53 10:20 13:11 16:27 17:34
Smith ❤️
Level at its best.
Old era was the best 🔥
Shaun Marsh...such a talented and pleasing player to watch...sadly he underschieved in his career imo.
Back to form 🎉🎉🎉
shain tait my favorite 100 mph bowler 😢
Uplod more matches of this series
Sheesh tait is strong
So strange, you had Watson in the team who could bowl 80-85mph and was a geniune wicket taker on his day, instead they had Hope and Hussey bowling low 70mph?! At the death? Very strange! I guess they had already lost the series maybe Watson didn't want to risk injury lol
Cricket is scripted
Aus won this series
Stuart broad is only one from that great English team is still playing and still picking up wickets❤️
WTF are you talking about , James Anderson is also playing from that same team
@@Manishnishad007 Anderson is not that good right now broad still is and Anderson missed last two matches and not seems like he can play longer but broad is still at his very best.
@@samiiplaysbut Anderson debut wa earlier than broad... In 2002-03 odi series in Australia I saw him he bowled against jaysuria who straguld to tackle ander swing and pace
14:14 is it Anderson? 😂
Say anything tate had the highest avg pace
Addidas sponsored both team😮❤
Grame sawan was a best spin bolwer
In 2019 n 10 oz are in top
Tait is the rason behind nowadays Pakistan's pace battery.
that time 270+ was considered match winning and enough
9:52
Shaun Tait was too quick, he lacked Lee's and Akhtar's skills. He was the bowling beast.
I remember this match watched on TV so feels like so long time but only 13 years many players are retire from both sides now but tait was arrested quick best he bowled too quick in this series I remember
Tim Pain was an absolute waste from the beginning, his strike rate was always and always very low
His one odi hundred also in 150 balls.
No fan of Paine, but feel like this was slightly different time. It was funny and odd that Paine was considered a more precocious talent than Steve Smith by some in their early days, before Paines injury
Spot on. Tim Paine without doubt is the worst international cricketer I’ve ever seen, certainly the worst captain. And a particularly grim bloke as well if his personal life is anything to go by. How many first class centuries does he have 😆
the speedgun was faulty...everyone seemed to bowl 5 mph quicker than their normal speed..
Anderson and Broad bowling at 89 kmph regularly?...wtf come on
Also this series started the decline of Australia side under pointing
Nah not this one ... before this they lost a home rest series against SA. That was the start.
Not new news. 100mph in 2003
Why did Pietersen come at 6?
Never seen a bowler who is as sensationally fast as Tait while being an equally bad bowler.
I think speed gone was wrong that day
In this wicket i think i can bowl 100 mph lol wen i see bresman and Anderson hitting 90 mph on english wickets but the rest of world, struggle to get over 85 mph hahaha
1st
4:04 shot!!
Anderson bowling 90 miles...
Skysports speedguns during 2008-2011 or so were known to show +3-4mph higher than usual. I still remember in the 2009 ashes, a half fit Flintoff was recorded at 95mph in the 2nd test, and Broad was clocked at 93-94mph.
@@kiz5562 well Anderson in his early days did bowl around 90 mph
@@Pyroblaze212 i know, but during this time frame, skysports were known to bump up the speedgun by 3-4mph.
Having seen interviews and commentary of so many great players like Ricky Ponting, Kumar Sangakkara, Rahul Dravid and many others over the years, I feel that these players played Odi cricket only with motive of earning money and just to be a part of World Cup and nothing else because they never ever talk about their Odi runs, centuries(not saying they should praise themselves but just talking about some moments of their Odi careers like they do all day all night about tests).I wonder how they played 350 odd Odis if they only loved test cricket.
& Aussie Lost ODI Series 3-2
