Looks like the POV camera needs to be mounted a little bit higher so we can see more road and less legs. Good stuff though, hopefully much more POV cam vids in the future!?

You can really see the one thing sim racing really fails to simulate is that elasticity of the drive line. Almost a bouncing effect.

@@aarongreen121 Isn't that just the traction control kicking in to prevent wheelspin?
@@__vx3 sure, but there is an elasticity to the drivetrain as things are put under load. Something which is missing from racing titles.
@@aarongreen121 Those straight cut, billet gearboxes etc doesn't have any "give" in them. They are as solid as a rock. Your tyres yes, but that is about it. Must admit, it's the first time ever that I come across this kind of explanation 🙂

I don't know how these drivers do these races, with all the gear and equipment they wear, the amount of cars all bunched together on a track and the small amount of space inside this car, I felt sooo claustrophobic watching this lol

The view to the left outside mirror is blocked by the radio cord. Or is the eye Line higher thans the camera?
I think the camera is placed below the helmet's lid, at the driver's chin. So at eye level, it should be fine
I mean it's obvious that they can't place the camera at eye line.
@@JMartinni camera's these Days can be very tiny. It al depends what type of camera they use
@@JMartinni f1 does use almost eye level cameras. Those are very small almost button sized ones installed in the driver's helmet itself..

I'm surprised they're happy with the harsh downshifts. Looks like it destabilizes the car going into the corners.
Yeah, noticed that too, but more downshifting into 1st it seems. Used to race for many years (not these kind of cars though) and we've never downshifted into 1st. It is something quite strange for me to see cars downshifting into 1st.

I'm assuming this is either Mouth Cam or Chest Cam no shot this is a eye cam or top helmet cam lol then again if this is an eye helmet cam he is sitting so low in that Huracan
