    I know that putting on a duvet cover is one of the most challenging tasks to do at home and a lot of people dread having to it..I personally had a difficult time the first time i had to it, years ago, but I think over the years, I’ve finally mastered it.
    Upon searching on youtube, I found that the burrito / california roll method is the most popular method.However, in my opinion, it’s a little too complicated, especially if you don't have someone to help you lay the duvet, cover, roll them together, etc… But it’s just me.
    So I’m gonna show you the method that i do, PLUS the Burrito / California Roll method too, so you can choose whichever method you prefer.
    Watch the video to see both methods demo!

    I watched this video and I said no...it can’t be this easy, I always do the burrito and that’s solid. Even tho I have to come back to CZcams to figure out if I lay the duvet on top or under. I walked to my bed (California King) and said “Let’s try this” 😐 So much easier and faster. Thank you so much!!!! And this I can remember!!

    Ironically, I had to go back and look at the California Roll video several times and was still confused even though I have to do this pretty regularly, including today on a twin size bed! Your method is so much easier. It gives me new confidence to try this with our king-sized bed. Thank you!

    I have been hired by a hotel to do cleaning that has duvet covers. All the housekeepers were telling me what a pain they are. I'll be doing like 20 per day. Fun! Hopefully your easy way works for me. Thanks.

    I'm so glad I found your video! I just moved into my own apartment and have been sleeping with the duvet cover lying on top of the duvet like a sheet 😄 That rolling method looked too complicated and your method is so simple, it's actually how I put pillow cases on my pillows! It just makes more sense. Thank you!

  • @katharman5399
    @katharman5399 Před rokem +2

    Always used the first method but with a super king duvet my arms don't stretch that wide and I have a waterbed so you can't stand on it without losing your balance! Even with smaller covers they never looked neat without a lot of shaking.
    First time I've tried the roll and was amazed how neat and even it looks with just one shake.
    Still not easy to do single handed so takes longer but i think its worth it.
    Thanks

    Thumbs up👍🏼 even though I don’t think it’ll work for me. I use 2 king duvets in my duvet cover. I can see myself now 🤣🤣. Plus my duvets always seem to move around in the duvet cover becoming uneven which is a HUGE pet peeve so I like to tie mine at all the loop points.
    But will try this method for my guest room tho for sure 🥰 Thank you

  • @fredlack1948
    @fredlack1948 Před rokem +1

    You make it look so easy yet when I get the burrito rolled, I still have issues flipping this thing around.
    Also, I like to use the tie downs and loops to keep the the comforter in place to the duvet.
    I need to learn how to flip it by myself as you can.
    Also, You have the sweetest way of being. You are a stand out. I admire the talent as it’s so hard, yet You have me convinced that I can succeed at this . Thank You, Nice lady.

    This is how I've always done mine and it boggled my brain that others didn't! Changing a superking bed with a duvet bigger than the bed makes a roll really difficult. I don't even stand on the bed. I just shake it over the bed. So much easier!

    Before washing your duvet cover turn it on the wrong side, then open your duvet as you making your bed. Then take your duvet as you did know and that way is much easier.
    Ps, stand on the floor.

    • @TheCuriousMrs
