I am deaf and this is great because its the ONLY bass channel that I have found to have good captions. Thank you
hazardousranger30 You're welcome!
Finding prespawn bass
hazardousranger30 how do you type?
josiah tucker he's deaf not blind
Zack Dawson I'm hoping you didn't miss the joke.
I actually seach for cute moments of Kitsune-no Senko-san. But i endend up seeing this.
Can't say i'm dissapointed, is actually very informative
I’ve actually had great success hooking it wacky worm style with an old school bobber. Offers great control and if there’s current/choppy water the bobber does all the work.
Very Professional and to the point explanation, learned several different rigs just under 12 minutes, WOW man! Thank you.
+shujah4ever Thank you!
+David Lopez
Yep, you want little weight as possible besides the little sinker attached to the Texas rig
Ķv
caught a really nice small mouth on a wacky rig today. first bass ever on a soft plastic anything. it was great
Did you use your wacky rig like a lure? Like casting and reeling?
That gives me hope! 2 years ago, I caught 1 bass...and have been trying to figure this game out since!
you know your making quality videos when there are all these great posts and no trolls
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
the little tip at 1:23.. pure gold, thnx for sharing, i'm using a 20lb mono line, but still works great
I've been "fishing" for years, and I put it in quotes because I didn't know what the heck I was doing half the time; but I decided to take it a little more seriously so I can teach my son. And we've gone out several times the past few weeks and I'm so excited to try these puppies out. He's already caught more fish at 9 than I have in my entire life, so I must be doing something right. Anyway, I hear nothing but good things about these Senko's and gotta get out there ASAP now. Thanks for the video.
Nice! We love to hear stories like this. Good luck dad! Thanks for watching!
Thanks Glenn, Perfect tips, I was watching MFL live today and notice lots of pros only using stickbait, some others jerk bait and jigs. but majority on STICKBAITs
I liked learning about the different ways to rig the Senko bait.
very informative, thanks for explaining the different ways of rigging plastics. This will help me out alot.
I’m so glad I came across your video and thankful I did. It’s been a challenging time fishing for me because I don’t know how to do it. After watching your video, I learned that I was tying up the lures/bait completely wrong. Took my son out yesterday and within the first 6 casts we caught two fish.
Thank you
Sweet! We love to hear success stories like this! Congratulations!
Awesome. I just got a lot of these baits via Mystery Tackle Box. now I know how to rig em up! Thanks!
Thanks that's really help. I'm new for bass fishing. Looking forward to catch my first bass. Still learning how to use casting reels.
Another good video: No fluff, right to the point. I'm liking the series quite a lot.
Thanks for the tips... Video is great, straight to the point unlike many others on youtube 10min videos with 1min useful content.
I'll be visiting your website soon.
Thanks again
You're welcome! And thanks for the great feedback. Glad you liked it!
This guy is one of the best teachers I've had the pleasure of watching. Thank you!
Wow, thanks! And thank you for subscribing!
Great tips on the senkos. I Texas rig on every trip and always catch largemouth with it.
Great video on stick baits. I like to rig my stick baits up on Swim bait hooks and flip into cover, I found this rig is great during the spring.
terry leist Thank you. That's a great tip!
I knew about wacky rigging before I watched this and I've found it to be my Holy Grail for fishing. Caught a 3lb 16' chain pickerel using is. I personally use a O-ring for my Senko. Again I love my Senko!
Thanks for watching Crimson Vulpes!
landed a 5lb-2oz 21inch largemouth bass in RI last week with the texas rig, works great thanks !! released it so someone else can enjoy the battle i fought! my fish was only 3.5 inches short of all-time state record:D
Where abouts in RI
Ian Byrne lmao 5 pounder was almost a record setter?
Here in NY the record is over 10 pounds hahah
Informational Motion Pictures lol at a local pond in texas the record is a whopping 12.15 lb bass!!
+Informational Motion Pictures He said the 5+ pounder @21 in was 3.5 inches short of the record .....the record was 24.5 inches and not 5 lbs ....probably closer to 10
Bass take time to grow I guess there. I have a 10lber on wall caught on a senko 23 1/2 inches long. But I live in Florida nice catch tho
I just subed. I just started bass fishing in a kayak due to a disability. Gets me back on the water after years of reabilitation. Great advise on rigging of Senkos. My first pack of 4 inchers are on the way. So glad that I watched this video
Glad to help, Bruce Snyder. Let me know how it works out as I would love to see the results.
I like that he shows the details of how it is rigged, and then discusses the pros of each
Awesome. Thanks for the feedback Karl von Eschenhof!
Great presentation, clear and understandable. I thought I fished the stick bait every way there is but, I see there is always ways to improve.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
Great video and super informative. New to bass fishing and bet I will be trying all of these rigs
I started using wacky rig with the plastic worm this year. Love it, never skunked , while I was out with my wife, she saw how many bass I had caught, she wanted me to fix her up with the same rig. That did it, going out this weekend to buy her a spinning rig, she has turn to a bass killer. Love it. They just kill the rig. Bass were deep hit in first cast.
You got that right! Thanks for watching, teaglet!
I enjoy your instructional videos over many others. How to rig, fish and catch. Make it simple then show you can catch um. I'm chomping at the bit to go fishing but rains have made the river look like a lake. In Bama. Great videos, keep it up, thanks
Hi David Carroll. Thanks for the feedback and support. I look forward to hearing more from you.
Great tips. Thanks for the thorough explanations!
I use rubber o rings for wacky style rigs. Saves alot of senkos.
Regina Grohe-Polisso that’s all I use now except when using Texas or Carolina rig
I like the 40lbs mono trick he did to help the bait last longer. Cheap and easy, especially if you don’t feel like spending the extra money on the Gamakatsu style Spring-lock/Impact soft bait hooks. Although I highly recommend you get some in your tackle cuz they’re awesome. And I’m definitely gunna try that trick out, thanks a lot for the tips and God bless you all 🤙
We love to hear when we do a good job. Keep ‘em coming!
Thanks for the tips. I have been mostly saltwater fishing but want to get back to bass fishing more.
Wayn Jul, glad I can help. Thanks for subscribing as well.
wacky rig is the most effective soft plastic rig iv used it for about 2 years and iv caught hundreds of bass with it
Liam Franklin I still have not caught one bass on wacky rig lol
Carver Outdoors I still haven’t caught a fish in 3 years
This is the best way I've seen the different senko rigs explained
Awesome. Thanks for the feedback Alexsia Best!
Such great videos!!! Thank you for your time and dedication to helping fellow anglers!
Thanks for the feedback Cross Fire! I appreciate it.
Getting back into fishing, love your informative style, just subscribed!!! Thank you!
Dwayne Robertson, glad I can help. Thanks for subscribing as well.
A super informative video. Thanks a lot, Glenn!
Great video with great tips. Apparently I have been Texas rigging a little different. It was still working, but I hope this helps.
Learned a lot Thanks Caught tons of bass off the wacky rig
realdipper, glad I could help. Let me know which tips helped the most. Looking forward to hearing much more from you.
Just a thought on the Wacky rig; I'm thinking that a very small split shot pinched onto the line or the hook shank might also be a good way to fish a weighted wacky rig. A small package of those assorted split shot that come it the circular red dispensers would provide a good assortment of sizes. I've never tried it, but I've never thought about using a jig head to whacky rig wither.
i been at my local pond which is very big, for almost 2 weeks trying to catch bass and i had no luck so im going to take your advice and go out tomorrow.
themfalcons it's possible there are not bass in there. Ask around
you guys had a great presentation it helped so much thank you. I caught a lot more fish because of you guys loved the video.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
Great vid. Love the quick pegging system especially on days the fishing is really good. Saves $. However I feel the mojo rig does have one distinct disadvantage compared to a typical Carolina rig with bead and swivel. If a finicky fish bites and pulls back in a direction that is away from the weight, the mojo rig allows the bass to feel the weight drag. As opposed to a Carolina rig, where the weight able to slide freely, without the fish feeling the added resistance. It may not make a difference all the time, but in post frontal conditions it allows that light-biting bass to hang on a second longer.
That’s a good tip as well, KJ Johnson. Thanks for sharing.
I mainly use senkos weightless with light spinning gear, 10 Lbs test with a 20 Lbs Fluorocarbon leader.
Oh, hey! It's actually a video where the guy describes what to and not to do, instead of fishing the whole time talking away from the camera like a prick. This man put the time in to make a genuine tutorial and it paid off. Thank you

njstorozuk, glad I can help! Thanks for subscribing as well.
Going to have to try this sometime. Thanks for keeping it simple.
Glad you liked it eric w!
I typically use a weightless Texas rig. And pretty much nothing else with soft Plastics. Only time use anything besides soft plastics is they just aren't biting them. But 90% of the time they work. Really like lizards and crawfish as well.
Awesome video. Cant understand why there are so many thumbs down. I sure enjoyed this video. Helped a lot.
Great video! Neko rigged 3'' or 4'' senko is great in pressured/clear lakes.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
Muy buen video amigo 1:23 gracias por ese tip's Saludos desde la CD de México 👍
I know this is an old video but I fish Senkos like crazy and this video was awesome!

Great video- It’s been a while and I’m getting back into the game. This was a great demonstration.
@sdufresne90, glad I could help. Looking forward to hearing much more from you.
Thank you for the lesson I’m going to Sturgeon Bay going salmon fishing but if I get blown off the lake going to go try to get some largemouth and smallmouth bass thank you very much
Have fun!
Thanks alot for this presentation guide, bass isnt that big here in canada so i needed an idea on rigging.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you this helped a ton!
I use the weightless Texas with my Senkos. Works great on the Delaware River.
You got that right! Thanks for watching, DoggieNYC!
I believe it is always best to wacky rig a senko on the drop shot cuz it stays parallel and doesn't hang.
I love the wacky rig! I have wicked luck with it! I use circle hooks instead though does just the same as those you have there
+roushia jon Kahle hooks work even better
Love the tip on pinning the worm to the eye.
Glad I can help. Thanks for subscribing as well.
fishing is all about different techs, one has to be willing to try different ways because what may work at one water may not work at another. Thanks for the information
That’s a good tip as well. Thanks for sharing.
I have my best luck using Texas rig styles with worms and lizards.
Awsome tips 🎣🐟👏🏽👏🏽
Great vid and very informative!! I just subscribed, continued success on the vids!
Thank you Victor!
Excellent. Articulate and informative.
I liked that tip with the 40 pound mono. Cool
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching.
Good Lord! I haven't been Fresh water fishing in many moons. Maybe 80's? I was expecting the old Bullet run to the top of the rig and cast. Things sure have changed. I'm going to give ur ideas a shot. Thanks!
Glad to help, Stem to Stern. Let me know how it works out as I would love to see the results.
@@bassresource Nothing yet.. I cast till my back started hurting a bit. I quit sat down on a picnick table with my wife. Some young men 20's came up and did ask if they can fish in my location? Sure! Knock yourself out. Guy gets a net which he cast out snagging some small shiners. Less than 5 mins they had a nice foot long bass up on the Bank. Gezz! Oh Well! I haven't given up on the worm fishing. Thanks again!
I do very well catching many bass on a wacky rig. but it sucks if there's a lot of underwater Timber
Thank You very much. Great Video and information. I am a new fisherman and I'm on a tight budget. At present I have one Spinning Rod and Spinning Reel. Because of my limited resources I must decide to use Braided line and use Fluorocarbon Leader. or Fluorocarbon only. please can you help. If it's all Fluorocarbon, what LB.Test for Bass? Thanks again to Bass Resource.
I use a rubber o ring and put the hook in that instead of the bait when I wacky rig it. Works really well and it allows the bait to be used for a lot longer.
That’s a good tip as well, 413xxx86. Thanks for sharing.
Very good presentation. Great tips.
Best ever !!! What more info is there ? Stop & go with Glen, Well done ,Thanks again
Nice! We love to hear feedback like this. Thanks for being a loyal viewer!

You're welcome angela sheppard! Thanks for watching.
Very informative. Thank you, sir.
awesome vid. very informative and clear!
patstuh650 Thank you!
What is the weight that you used for the Carolina Rig? I've only seen the setup with a brass bullet weight, beads and swivel. I like your setup better.
Awesome tips. Thanks!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
BassResource what are the best size hooks for these rigs? Did you say 2?
this is awesome!! I've been looking for tips to rig my 5" senkos
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
Your welcome!
Imma put your knowledge to my skills n see how I do at shasta lake!
Thank you. I like whacky rig I think that football head jig whacky rigged is gonna work better
Yes, absolutely @mommadukez7966! Thanks for watching!
Very informative vid! Thank you for taking your time to make it and upload. When you are demonstrating your drop-shot rig, it almost looks like your worm hook is on a swivel. Did you put a hook on a 3-way swivel? How did you rig that? Trying to rig it with a mooching knot leading down to the drop-shot weight has worked OK for me, but I'm curious what you did there as a pro.
+CT034 Hi CT034, I use a VMC Spinshot hook which, as you noticed, is a hook on a swivel. It also has line ties for rigging. I like it because it prevents line twists, plus it allows the bait to move freely. BTW, I am not sponsored by VMC. The hook is my personal preference.
I agree with you i like yum dingers because they are cheaper
that pegging system is gold! Great tip!
Thanks, Orillia Fishing, I appreciate your feedback.
Very helpful info and great job in detail thanks
You're welcome Christopher Gilliam! Thanks for watching.
My pawpaws yard has worms the size of senkos, could i use them in the same way?
Can you fish all of these styles in open water as well?
Really well made video! Thanks
Very well presented👌🏻

Never have any luck on senkos but for some reason I ended up with about 10 bazillion I got free. I Always use ribbon worms or finesse ones.
