I just started using trick worms about 3 weeks now. They have been in my tackle box for about 4 years unopened. I just discovered a new world of fishing. 😁
Hey Glenn: Thanks! You made me very happy yesterday with your trick worm tip. For two hours, I applied it and only it; result was more largemouth bass than I've ever caught in a day.

Love it. I'm going to try this. I've never tried a white worm. And I've never floated one either, I have the perfect place to try it. Great video thanks.
I tried White Grubs about 4 years ago. I was in Cabela’s just looking around and came across White Grubs. This kid about 14 said, Hey Mister do you like fishing White Grubs? I said I never tried it. He said well you should. “White Pissed Bass Off, They Always Bite On White. That’s All Me & My Grandpa Fish With.” Well, I tried it and the kid was right. I don’t know if the Bass are pissed off but they sure bite on white. 4 years later I have more white lures in my tackle boxes than I did 4 years ago. Thanks Kid😁😁😁 I bet my next color Surprize will be Bubblegum.🤪
I have never thought of using a floating worm this way. Loved this video. As always, great information and great video. Thank you for the time you put in making them for us.
I love that technique! This late winter early spring was my first time to use it and it will get bites when just about nothing else will! Great tips and video!
Hey Glen, really good tips. I fish soft plastics almost exclusively, but haven’t rigged a trick worm quite the way you’ve shown here. Good stuff, keep it coming !
Thanks Glen! Great video and thanks for zooming in when u rigged the worm. So many channels neglect this important training tool so audience can see how to do it, rig it.
I’ve in the past used a wooden toothpick. And snipped off the access with a Nail Clipper. I also added some attracted to the toothpick because it absorbs into the wood first.
great video as usual Glen, thanks for the instructional videos, I agree this is a great technique during the postspawn. I like this technique in heavy pressures waters because it gives a different look than most try.
I've been using this for the past 7-8 years, it is definitely one of my favorite way to fish for bass anytime from spring to late fall in southern Louisiana, I use 40-50 pound braid and the fish love it I ususally use a 3/0-4/0 hook, glad someone finally posted a video on this, my most successful colors are white and pink, a very good technique👍
Well, I tried this today, and though I didn't QUITE get it right (no stiff line to peg; will get that tomorrow!), it still worked! In my fishing notes I called it "The Glenn Rig." Since you created it!
Roger Ford, glad I could help, but I didn't invent it. I was taught the technique back when I was a kid by a soon-to-be 3-time Classic contender and great friend, Jeff Boyer. Let me know which tips helped the most. Looking forward to hearing much more from you.
I learned this trick a long time ago while learning to fish a Mann’s 12” jelly worm! We would run about 4” of the worm up past the hook eye and run it weightless. Fish catching machine for sure! Great video🎣🎣
Been throwing trick worms for a long time down here in Florida but next time I throw one I'm definitely gonna rig it the same way you did in the video at the 9 and a 1/2 minute mark. Thanks for the tips.
Man this is my favorite channel along with tackle warehouse , wired 2 fish and bassmaster for real , so informative. I love your voids and learn alot to add to my techniques, thank you bass resource and glenn
Thank you so much I was trying to figure out my line twist and that swivel was perfect... Another thing I noticed I normally use wide gap hook, and normally have kept the worm pretty straight.. I'm looking forward to trying this technique this week Thanks
thank you for that info...i started fishing the floating worm this year...i learned a couple tips i didn't know. What colors work best ? I've been using an orange & bubble gum swirl with good results.
Excellent tips and true wisdom again!☝️.I know I’m just another random person with a keyboard here, but you sir have been my mentor. I became an angler just 2 yrs ago. I’ve watched actual days of accumulated videos since, you are by a longshot to me the smartest fisherman I’ve come across. You’re little tips on rigging, line and reel choice etc have rapidly made me better. Yourself and Matt Allen are the smartest anglers in the country. I thank you and always look forward to you’re next video.
Seems very similar to fishing a weightless fluke! I'm interested in the white worm...certainly going to try it along with my pink worm. Thanks for this unique tool to add to my repertoire. Hope to land a few to get confidence in another way to fish.
I began using Zoom Trick worms last year and have caught so many fish with them. Here in SoCal many anglers are throwing stick baits and Roboworms.
I just started using trick worms about 3 weeks now. They have been in my tackle box for about 4 years unopened. I just discovered a new world of fishing. 😁
Thanks for tips Glenn, keep em coming.
Great new rig! Best part is it's everything I already have! Thanks!
Hey Glenn: Thanks! You made me very happy yesterday with your trick worm tip. For two hours, I applied it and only it; result was more largemouth bass than I've ever caught in a day.

I've always struggled with my worm rigging, now I have a much better grasp on things to try.
Very informative video. Thanks. I will definitely add this to my strategy options.
Good job Glen... thanks for the advice!
Awesome tip for thetrick worm. I use these on ponds regularly
Looks super funky on the hook but you can't deny that action in the water. Gotta try this one!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
I rig something up similar with a 6” senko but never used the swivel I’ll have to try it out. Thanks!
Glen, just want say thanks for years of GREAT bass videos and tips!!!! Your one my favorites, my man!
I appreciate that!
Love it. I'm going to try this. I've never tried a white worm. And I've never floated one either, I have the perfect place to try it. Great video thanks.

Thanks for watching Jerome Dwojak!
I feel sliding the worm up the string like you did will be an absolute game changer! I can't wait to give this a shot now!
Good tip, Glen. Gotta give this one a try. Sometimes, the floating-worm technique gets forgotten. This should help bring it back.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
Another great vid. Thanks for your time.
I was in a bass club right when the Senko came out. We figured out this technique right away. It works!
Thanks for the tips. Definitely going to have to use a floating worm more.
I never fish it like this,I try to make it straight all the time! Thanks for the info!
Great video for me, I'm trying to get better and more confidence in finesse techniques.
I love that technique! This late winter early spring was my first time to use it and it will get bites when just about nothing else will! Great tips and video!

Thanks, Jpeace530, I appreciate your feedback. I'm working on 4 more as we speak!

You're welcome Nick Blanco! Thanks for watching.

Thanks! Cant wait to go and try this one.
Love fishing these especially around shallower cover
That's one of the best worm tips I've ever seen. I forwarded this to my friends and I can't wait to rig it this weekend.

This place is amazing Congratulations Fisherman, beautiful *Fish!* 👍🎣🐠😎
Glad you liked it Suellen Gonçalves - Pesca Esportiva!
Does that work for bank fishing
Thanks Glen! Great video and thanks for zooming in when u rigged the worm. So many channels neglect this important training tool so audience can see how to do it, rig it.
You're welcome Mike Waara! Thanks for watching.
Thanks for another great video, Glenn. I can't wait to try your floating worm technique!
Great! Let me know how you do!
I’ve in the past used a wooden toothpick. And snipped off the access with a Nail Clipper. I also added some attracted to the toothpick because it absorbs into the wood first.
Can’t wait to try this. This has become one of my go to channels. Thanks for all the great information sir!
Hi Brandon Iliff. Thanks for the feedback and support. I look forward to hearing more from you.
Good info. I use those things all the time almost won the first tournament I ever fished on a floating worm.
Awesome. Thanks for the feedback BassGeek!
This is a great way to rig a floating worm that I never thought of.
As usual, another great tip!
Thanks,

Will definitely try this technique next time I’m out on the water!
Great video. Nothing like a good day catching bass. Thanks for the info. Will try it next time i go.
I love using the floating worm!!
Yes, absolutely John Cahill! Thanks for watching!
Know I’m real late but on the off chance you see this, do you use a leader as well or just straight braid?
@@Tyler-qf9vz he says he uses straight mono he doesn’t use braid too a leader because he’s in ultra clear water and scared the fish will see his line
What about the weight? What weight is used
Very different set up. Great tip! Thanks!
Love it. Glenn just makes me happy to fish..love that chuckle. Haha. Thanks for the new technique!
Glad you liked it Jake Doster!
Thanks ill try that looks good
10/10 will be trying this technique.
Kinks and bends are good ! Thanks for posting this I have just started using Zmann baits !
I have 6 bags of trick worms and have only fished them once! Thanks for the video, I know what I’m using tomorrow! 👍
Best tutorial on this rig I have seen yet. Many thanks for the great video.
Glad to help, Alaska Mike. Let me know how it works out as I would love to see the results.
Great info man!! Definitely going to use this technique on my next outing!!
Outstanding content. In depth lesson on proper rigging and retrieve of a technique that few people truly know how to fish. Thanks!

Excellent tutorial, well explained and demonstrated, thank you.
Thanks, Brendan Carter, I appreciate your feedback.
Thanks I will try this in the spring.
Awesome advice (as always!), Glenn! I'm going to try this today! Thanks!
Love the new way to rig (and peg) the worm.
Well, I tried this today, and though I didn't QUITE get it right (no stiff line to peg; will get that tomorrow!), it still worked!
In my fishing notes I called it "The Glenn Rig." Since you created it!

My biggest challenge is pegging! I have some trouble figuring out where the eye of the hook is.
I learned this trick a long time ago while learning to fish a Mann’s 12” jelly worm! We would run about 4” of the worm up past the hook eye and run it weightless. Fish catching machine for sure! Great video🎣🎣
Glad you liked it silverdropstang!
