Not hating on the actor but he's a miscast for Raiden role. The guy played Scorpion (Sanada) would have been the better Raiden IMO.

I don't mind Raiden's accent here, but they messed up his personality big time. In the video games, Raiden is depicted as a selfless, kind, leaderly, heroic, inspirational, fatherly figure. This movie, however, portrays him similar to Pai Mei from Kill Bill.

From watching Shogun the actor that plays Raiden in this movie would have been a really good Bo-Rai-Cho from his acting and looks in the Shogun Series.
