- This week we have Star Racing Yamaha's Max Anstie on to talk about his new team, bike, and thoughts on Southwick this weekend. Andrew Short and his son Hudson will call in to talk about trying to qualify for Loretta's, Shorty's future plans, and more. Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Austin Forkner will finish up the guest line-up to talk about brain surgery, recovery, and what his future looks like. As always we'll have our Yamaha Highs and Lows, the X Brand Forum Check-In, and all the other segments you've come to expect. @@Troll4youu buddy I dont know how to tell you this but only one other rider has one a overall over him and he's almost won half of the races already just stop hating.
Max is always humble. I’ve met him and his dad several times at the local SoCal tracks. I remember his dad helping me out with a radiator leak at state fair, since then I was always rooting for him.
Forkner is a funny character, sounds like he's extremely excited to be alive. I enjoyed this interview, one badass young man. I believe that Dr. might have crossed a wire. Lol Jokin, he's just excited.

Shorty was parked right next to me at a venue called Iron Dog in Texas two weeks and 3 days ago unfortunately my day ended in a horrific crash that ended me up in a trauma board in Houston for a week and I've been in a rehab hospital for a week and 3 days in San Antonio I'm 64-year-old racer rider I had a friend that went out for the first Moto practice with me and he was supposed to be just kind of following me to kind of figure out what was what he promised me he wasn't going to do anything stupid because he's been recovering for many injury and approaching the finish line triple which I'm not doing I'm only doing the double part I hear the motor comes strong and I thought what is this man doing he's just recovering from a broken back and I'm doing the double part and this bike comes over me about a 900 ft higher than me sideways over jumps a triple lands in the sand like it was nothing and takes off and it was shorty besides the fun ride I had before the crash that was a fond memory not unusual to see shorty and Hudson at some of our local tracks class act insanely good rider Hope to be back I'm a dumbass and I thought my return would be you know two three months and they're telling me 6 to 8 months kind of got down in the dumps a little bit but back listen to Moto x pod and hearing all the familiar voices makes me feel good guys constant listener world vets is off the table for me this year would have been my third year in a row but good job on the show Thank you very much Will keep listening Hope to see you back out of track here and short as possible
42:13 a big reason nobody talks about is Covid and the closures of tracks. California took a huge financial hit. That’s why so many people moved away from California.
I just don’t see it from vialle this outdoor season, it’s almost like he got too complacent after winning the super cross title
Mitch asking if austin can be ready for SX at the beginning of the year I take as the wrong perspective to have right now and sounds a bit egotistical. Austin should have as much time as possible to heal and race East coast since it comes later. Unless Mitch was only insisting being ready for SX but saying early sounds like R1 in January. Austin needs to heal
It's most likely because that's the only way he can keep him on the team, I hate seeing all the kid has gone through but let's be real here he has crashed out of the last 6 supercross series 6 years in a row and maybe raced a couple outdoors. I absolutely hate seeing him go through this year after year and hope he comes back with a silver lining but it's honestly a miracle kawasaki has kept him this long. Most guys get 1 or 2 years tops.
