Emery is a fantastic coach and the amount of stick he got when he was at arsenal was a joke the man is a proven winner his record speaks for itself.
Now they are changing their tune. They slaughtered him and argued he couldn’t speak good English. You wonder how many of these critics speak any other language besides English.

As a Man United supporter I have absolutely massive respect or Aston Villa. Away games at VP always special. Many Villa supporters this side of the Irish sea too. When you talk about institutions and tradition in historical context they are among the standard bearers. Main entrance to the stadium says it all. Job Emery is doing is nothing short of outstanding. What a team he has put together there bringing existing along with exciting talent

I'm obviously a villa fan the first time I stepped into old Trafford I cried because its the home of football its home of George best it's gorgeous 😍 and it should be honoured there's rumours our owners are seriously looking into moving Aston villa away from villa Park into a new 60000 seater stadium in Birmingham

O’Neils Aston Villa were unbelievable, he had us playing some gorgeous football at the time, but Unai is showing a complete different level of quality with how much of a genius he is 💪🏽 UTV
O'Neill had no Plan B. Just look at Villa's home form under him. Fortress Villa park it wasn't, most points picked up away with his counter attacking Plan A. As for Europe under MON, let's just say recollections may vary. Fans were not too happy traveling to Moscow to see the U21s play.

Unai Emery is a world class coach, he knows how to get results and knows how to win silverware especially that Europa League.
Winning Europa League doesn't make you world class.
He's a good coach at a certain level and a good fit for teams that aspire to be mid to upper half of the table, such as Valencia and Aston Villa. He doesn't have the pedigree for top clubs.

I don’t think that can even be argued , you could argued the manager who won us the European cup but for the way the game is moved on he’s best tactical coach we’ve ever had

Villa finished 2nd and 4th between 1993 and 1996 but didnt qualify for the European Cup. Now they are extending it to 5th place!
It's a joke the format should have stayed the same when we won it a knockout tournament with 2 legs throughout but greed wins out in the end. Technically 5th for the leagues Champions League spots isn't guaranteed but more then likely
Only thing that worries me as a Villa fan regarding Unai is that he is prone to jumping ship at the right offer. Hopefully it’s not the case this time and the owners provide him with all the assets he needs to take us to the very top
I would argue he has jumped ship in leagues that don't have the best finances. I think he'll enjoy the project of Villa alongside the money to make real changes.

Uni is one of Europe’s top coaches, I still can’t believe we have him after Gerrard. His football can be difficult to watch sometimes for the neutral but it’s winning football.
I think that with certain clubs dominating the top 3-6 positions in football other teams don’t get to gain European experience and build the base of there club so if they ever make it to a champions league they just get knocked out this competition is like a stepping stone for clubs aspiring to do more giving them the chance to build there club for the travels of Europe

We as Villa fans appreciate him 100% he has a point to prove as well, the club is going from strength to strength, a lot of change with the stadium the calibre of players we are attracting, and the style of football we are playing, undoubtedly the best manager we have ever had, we are lucky to have him but he loves us, too 6 this year and possibly a trophy at the end of it, but other than Man City and Liverpool I wouldn’t want to be any other club at the moment, arsenal/spurs Chelsea Man Utd all have weak mentality, spent a fortune and professor Unai will be at Villa longer than the teams keep their managers 100% arteta will be sacked when arsenal plummy this season and another year without a trophy. Everyone spending beyond there means, while Villa doing clever business, this season we bought pau Torres £30m diaby £45m tielemans for free, and zaniola on loan but with a option to buy, so we spent £75m we got the final payment of grealish £33m sold archer £20m with a buyback Aaron Ramsey for £15m with a buyback clause, £5m for Philogene, coutinho £20m so we recouped £90m or there about, and we have dramatically improved the team, we will see but we are in good hands, huge credit to the owners also. The Europa Conference League is basically a season-long Inter-Toto cup, with the winner getting into the Europa League! As a Villa fan, I want us to win it to build confidence in the players and as another route into Europe, but it doesn't excite me at all.
