    I for one enjoy the thought of going storm with no incentive to go otherwise :P
    It looks like this tree was definitely built from the resto side.

    i think 2 people are in charge of shaman design, while the others are busy reworking and even re-reworking paladins, mages, warlocks, death knights

    I honestly see the possibility of a DoomNova build with Totemic. I do think they should change that earth buff and make is some sort of season 2 tier bonus to sundering of increases in physical and fire like it was or mastery as suggested. There is enough weird in the current talents I could see the talents being used at each node. Not by any means would it give big numbers but Doom Nova has been one of, if not my most, favorite build in dragonflight and it would be awesome to see it get some use again

      I love Fire nova so much too ! Sadly, its poor design (caped to 6 targets) has made it unplayable during dragonflight. Just make hailstorm the best choice for single / cleave and Fire nova the best option for 5 and more targets, keep the 6 flame shock max but just uncapp Fire nova 😤

    Don't know why the totem cant do something like Stormstrike Damage (Nature/Phys hybrid)
    At least that way its makes the better of both situations.
    Ah well, i guess if any of these hero talents ship poorly and dont see the play rate they are expecting it should be a red flag for them to rework them as needed.

    The vast majority of specializations have all the skills available basic or at the first levels of the tree, if it is according to the logic of action (attack of one target, for example) If they coincide with each other, then synergy is being worked out between them. In an Enhancement situation, such skills contradict each other and require separate builds. In addition, the buttons are too weak by themselves if the whole build is not pumped on them.
    There are too many simple effects that take up space in the tree when they should be basic (Windfury totem).
    The designers do not know what to do with the Shaman as a whole and his specialization Enhancement...
    The shaman class do not have an own concept, has some kind of disparate set of tools, yet these tools work effectively for Casters and poorly for Melee.
    It was a fatal mistake to split the specialization into two separate Elementalist and Stormstrike. Abilities should be harmoniously combined and not belong to separate builds.

    Think yall are missing the hidden physical damage build here.

    • @StankieGaming
      @StankieGaming  Před měsícem +1

      It's gonna be a very weird phys build since half the tree is reliant on lava lash & fire stuff!
      So i mean you might make a phys build but it's not gonna do that well cause most of the tree doesn't support it, just the totem.

    such a miss for enhance, hope they do a hefty rework.

  • @LordHypnos4

    I really like it I like the fact that it's pushing physical damage there's a lot of physical damage buffing talents in the tree

    • @Sly_404
      @Sly_404 Před měsícem +4

      This is awful as it renders half of the talents in the tree useless.

    • @LordHypnos4
      @LordHypnos4 Před měsícem +3

      @@Sly_404 it also renders half the talents that are already useless useful. Bottom line is I think this tree will look better once shaman receives it's round of changes. My wish is that not all of our damage be magical I've been playing enhance since tbc and I still like the fantasy of being a weapon wielding battle mage esque warrior so I still want physical damage to matter and I want windfury weapon to hit hard and be something we care about because that's what got me to love the spec in the first place. However they do it is fine by me

    • @Karyzn
      @Karyzn Před měsícem +2

      @@LordHypnos4 I think the problem is this tree has an identity crisis since the physical build will want the stormbringer tree. At the moment this tree seems like it's trying to please all the builds and therefore pleasing none. Unless they rework enhance in some way or rework this tree a bit I personally am almost definitely going stormbringer but it's still early.

    • @LordHypnos4
      @LordHypnos4 Před měsícem

      @@Karyzn I don't think that's necessarily true I think the physical build could go with either tree I think the issue is moreso that elementalist enjoyers had the idea that totemic would be more tailored to that playstyle but find totemic to be lacking in that regard. In my opinion both trees should work for both playstyles and really should only differ in flavor. So I think storm bringer needs work to fit elementalist better and this tree needs some work to also fit elementalist better, but I think that mostly is a symptom of the enhance spec really having two distinct tree paths that don't synergize with eachother. That's what needs to be fixed and I hope that they do that with shamans round of changes which I'm sure is coming. Not that I don't want them to iterate on this tree either I just like how they aren't forgetting shamans used to do physical damage primarily. Also this tree makes sunder slap super hard which is one of my favorite abilities in the game and seems to have been forgotten since season 2, so I think they're going in the right direction with it

    • @Sly_404
      @Sly_404 Před měsícem

      @@LordHypnos4l take given Stormbringer already favors Storm aka physical. There is no need to have the other hero spec being a weird hybrid that can’t compete if it tries to amp both physical and elemental at the same time.
