    800 in one day... That is almost an entire week of work for me. You have inspired me. I am going to test this this weekend on my north side wall which needs a wash. My mom’s house needs a full wash. If this is successful, I am going to start this as a side hustle on weekends. Thanks for all the knowledge! This is a great channel! I need to look for a video on cleaning shingles.

    REAL and to the point .. I remember back when I was a kid seeing my dad use water hose with Nozzle on the end and a pump sprayer washing houses ... I use to think people would look at him like he wasn't a professional because he didnt have professional equipment.. noone ever complained all they ever said was WOW you do Amazing work and your attention to detail is Awesome .. he was a Great people person and being Hispanic working in an all white neighborhood back in the early 80s wasn't easy... Just wanted to say ... Thank you for the Great informative videos and that your not bothered by someone else's negative vibes ... God Bless you and thank you for your charity contributions towards St. Jude

      Right! Back in the early 80s where I lived if you were white and walked into a hispanic neighborhood you'd get beaten or at the very least terrorized, and for no other reason but the fact you were white, and you claim it wasn't easy for hispanic folks to be in a white neighborhood? LMAO The hood I lived in welcomed anyone. It didn't matter what race you were. I'm so tired of these types of comments whether they come from an hispanic, a black person, or a white person. We're all in this world together just trying to survive and give our kids a future.

    Dan, Your videos are great and information rich. They have helped me in starting my own business. Going from nothing to 5 jobs in just a month! I particularly like your simple form of marketing that works great! 4 out of 5 of my customers I have got with door hangers displaying pricing, which I think is key in this type of business, when looking for quantity. The customers love it too because there is no guessing involved. My flat rates are a little higher than yours but thats due to limited competition in my area (Around Pittsburgh, PA). I am also trying to build a lawn care route to create a weekly, steady income. I was hoping you could do another video similar to the "How to grow/build pressure washing business fast" You did two years ago. I know there is no one secret by any means, but maybe a little advice on how to build a lawn care route/clientele. Also some pressure washing advice, as always. Im sure many others would appreciate this video as well. You have definitely made an impact on my outlook on marketing and business as a whole. The effort you put into your videos is all worth it if you can impact one, let alone many people. Keep it up Dan!

    Absolutely. Homeowner style pressure washers won't hold up with bleach. Just use a downstream injector or a completely different pump like a insecticide pump. Even with professional washers, i recommend downstream injectors. Easier and cheaper to maintain or replace a injector than replacing a pump on the washer.

    I think people are thinking of mixing bleach and ammonia, which makes chloramine vapor. Or bleach and an acid, which can make chlorine gas. Mustard gas is also known as sulfur mustard, which is completely different than the other two. Dish soap....doesn't create any toxic vapor or gas with bleach.

    Great video. Love that you take time to show news guys how you do things to clean houses
    Wether it’s the right way way proper trained guys do it or not I have watched almost all your videos I am doing this part time now there is a LITTLE bit of common sense that has to be used here in this business especially when using chemicals. I’m am always one for constructive criticism I think it helps you to improve. But what I’m tired of seeing is all these guys saying your doing it all wrong and there properly trained. BUT I haven’t seen many if any of them taking time out of there day to show people the BASICS. I have tried your way using Dawn and I didn’t DIE but I however have started using armor hammer liquid for soap until I can get more work to buy a better soap. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. And thank you for videos. I bet none of these guys are DONATING any of that hard earned money either.

    Hey Dan, I've been enjoying your channel for years. I compliment you on your work ethic and your charitable, pay it forward philosophy. I've been doing the same thing all along, especially with our seniors. Give something back, seems like the right thing to do. Couple quick questions...first, it seems that I remember you pre-wetting your houses with water and Dawn with a hand held sprayer prior to applying your bleach. Next thing, I see you putting your bleach mixture onto a dry house. What dictates your plan of attack for each job? Second, I see you're dealing with vinyl siding like most of us are. How do you deal with oxidation and how do you prevent "tiger stripes" or "Zorro marks" in your finished product. I've read different solutions from various regions of the country and alot of them are suggesting a soft wash with a hand scrub. How are you approaching this? Keep on doing what you're doing and stay safe!!!

      Or you can get bleach tips, depending on your pump you can reach 50 - 60 feet. where water goes so will the SH.
      Couple tips. Get color barrels that do not allow sunlight to weaken your SH. Hot bleacho is the best! Currently I shoot 13.5% pulling through a 2:3 injector.
      Thanks for your video!

    Dan. Are you using 12% or 10% pool formula ?
    And are you just downstream infecting it from your pressure washer on low psi ?
    And what rate do you mix either ?
    Thanks buddy ! Much respect

    Hey Dan! You're videos have really helped me. The pressure washing industry is so secretive and condescending. I work EMS in Chatham County and am considering doing this full time. Do you think that it is possible to do this full time in Savannah?

    So does using those nozzles in my pressure washer wand remove some of the pressure I hear you saying it's done with no pressure but aren't you using a pressure washer?

    • @Monztuh
      @Monztuh Před 10 měsíci

      Yes it does. 1 month of knowledge added. The soap nozzles are less pressure so it can pull from the injector.

  • @benjaminthomas9480
    @benjaminthomas9480 Před 6 lety

    I am looking into starting pressure washing to earn money. I have hardly done any pressure washing, and don't know all the ins and outs yet. Your video seems pretty informative, but one thing is unclear to me: Why use a pressure washer when you are purposely trying to soft wash without much pressure? I messed around with a 2.5gpm pressure washer, seeing how it would do on the house. It turns out that my garden hose with a sprayer on the jet setting could reach high enough to clean the very top of the (2.5-story) house, but the pressure washer doesn't reach even that far, at least on lower-pressure, soap and rinse tips. The garden hose also supplies noticeably more water than the pressure washer, making the hose an obviously preferable way to soft wash. So why use a pressure washer? The water pressure in my area is definitely higher than typical, so is a garden hose usually not sufficient for tall houses? I'm also still looking around, trying to decide whether it makes sense to climb up and use pressure to clean as opposed to just chemical washing. If not, doesn't it make sense just to get a siphon injector that screws onto the spigot, and clean with a garden hose?

  • @firstclasspressurewashing3440

    Hey Dan love the video .... washing house isn’t nearly as hard as some make it out to be but you could definitely get your self into trouble real quick with out some decent experience behind you !!! I caught you are using straight 10.5 you could probably cut it with some water to save on chemical use and still end up with great results ???

    • @DansVlog
      @DansVlog  Před 6 lety

      Probably can cut it down but I want to move along as fast as possible without damaging lawn and plants but also not having to second coat anything. It’s a Dan thing.

      Nice Videos Dan, Im using the same thing with the pool essentials 10.5 from walmart. I also went ahead and got the Downstream injector that you recommend. But having trouble getting adjustment on it right, is it like a backwards screw? Trial an error, it almost seems like it shuts off when either fully out or in. Which way do you have it for the best application. Im with you on the get it done, and avoid 2nd round if i can.. time is money.. :)

    Do you do one side at a time ( application chem then rinse). Do you have to be concerned about the chems drying before you rinse? Is there a concern about roof ( getting clean in areas you spray gables on additions) and changing shades compared to the remainder of roof? PS, Great vid THANK YOU and thanks for donating! GREAT GUY!!!!

    • @DansVlog
      @DansVlog  Před 6 lety

      I do the whole house and then rinse the whole house. The roof would require a much stronger mix so there is no issues with discoloration

    • @DansVlog
      @DansVlog  Před 5 lety +2

      Why is there money to be made? Cause Pressure Washers is not something home owners usually have on hand. We can offer a fair price and get paid on the spot. I usually can get the sale if I get to speak to the homeowner. No one wants to live in mildew, they are scared of the price.

      Upsell my friend, upsell!!! Once you make a good deal on the house wash at a good flat rate price then you try to add concrete patio or front porch or driveway and get the price up also try to get them to become a lawn service customer
