Nice to see some snow. Much prefer the white stuff to the sweaty stuff (meaning the hot weather, of course, lol). Unfortunately, we haven't had any snow up here on Merseyside . . . yet. Here's hoping. Would have been nice to have had a White Christmas,, but all we got here was a bleedin' unseasonably WARM day, which I always hate, as it doesn't give it the proper Christmas atmosphere. Hope 2024 is a good year for you, Big Pauly.

Uncut Gems is one of his more serious ones as is Reign Over Me and both of these are excellent imo.

You should see the slip on the US *Mayfair Witches* ... it's stunning with a sort of velvety finiish and gloss embossed highlights!
Nothing of _Adam Sandler_ in my collection either... well except the *Pixels* steelbook and voicing is rather different and the cover is nice 🤣
Oh yeah I actually own Pixels too, forgot about that one. Nothing better an embossed Alexandra Daddario I think 🤪

I hate Adam Sandler "comedies" but I love Punch Drunk Love. He plays a socially awkward guy who is constantly emotionally bullied by his horrible sisters. Miraculously a lovely woman falls for his odd ways, which gives him almost superhuman powers to defeat an evil mattress seller who also runs a sex phone chat scam. Fantastic score and a great use of Shelley Duvall singing He Needs Me from Popeye ! It's in my top 3 Paul Thomas Anderson films (not the Resident Evil guy !!!!!)
That film with Tom Selleck Runaway is a great film from the 89s

A great blu ray hunting in the snow Pauly quite heavy here in Essex too. I'll pick up Exorcist Believer on Blu-ray this week not seen it before as well. Shame they are closing that Demelza shop down but the big warehouse will be good to check out when it's open. Punch Drunk Love was a bargain never seen that film before either.
Kino Lorber is releasing Monk on blu ray. One season a month. They will probably be region A if you have a region free player. Kino do great sales and they will eventually go in them.

There is a another Exorcist film coming as they are already going to be two more films in the trilogy after Believer as just having been announced from Blumhouse Productions and Universal Studios.
The other bad news that the Abyss has been cancelled on 4K UHD in the U.K. due to cannot edit the rat scene out and James Cameron and his team at Lightstorm said no to the BBFC on cutting a minor scene of the film with a underwater fluid scene involving an animal and so it’s available to preorder now in the United States on the 12th of March 2024 as it’s region free.
Punch-Drunk Love is a great film. Doubt that you'll think so though.

CEX often charges more for used blu rays than HMV which are also very overpriced. Although you did indeed get a great deal on this occasion. A belated happy new year to you Big Paulie.
I have a question. How come we haven't moved on past Blu-ray/4k UHD to some kind of SD card thing, kind of like what Nintendo has with the Switch. Theirs a 1.5 TB SD card you can buy, but it's $485.33 USD.
It was the same down here in Brighton Paul, a few snow flurries in the afternoon which amounted to nothing, I’ve not seen proper snow on the south coast in over a decade, shame really, I miss it. 👍😃👍

I really liked bloodlines . simple horror film nothing not too like suppose if you don't like horror films then you think it's rubbish
Nah I like plenty of horror films. Bloodlines just didn’t do anything for the Pet Semetary story. It should be about a semetary where dead pets come back to life that’s why the original works so well, we didn’t need to know the backstory of why it exists
