    I put these on my other bike "The Deuce" 2 yrs ago. Never had an issue with them. I put the longer black heat wrap and also used a hair dryer too haha. I also got the black Custom Dynamics led license plate frame that only lights up when you hit the brakes. I only did that because i got hit from behind yrs ago. StreetGlide is staying stock with lights and signals except smoked lenses haha. Streetglides already look ok with stock signals imo. Another good video man👊

    Second time watching your video. It seems to have the most info of the ones I've watched. You were lucky enough to just reroute some existing lines. Unfortunately, the previous owner removed my turn signals completely and I can't find the relay unless it's under the tank. Is there any harm in wiring them into the back turn signals? I was able to locate those wires.

    • @LifeontheBlacktop
      @LifeontheBlacktop  Před měsícem

      I’m not sure where the relay is but were you able to locate the plugs tucked all the way back into the neck like I show in the video? It’s really the best option since these have a BCM and are somewhat sensitive to wiring. It might be beneficial to grab an electrical service manual since you don’t have ANY turn signals and maybe you can somewhat get it back to stock wiring.

      At the end of the video I run through a kind of "reset" to program the new ones. You might try that. If not, depending on the year of the bike, you may need a load equalizer. Back in the day on my 05 meanstreak I put LED bulbs on it and they worked but would blink super fast. I had to add a load equalizer to the blinkers to slow them down.

    BT I think there goofy. Critics can be annoying, to sporty for me. Go to work think about it and throw those originals back on.

      They're really nice. If your not a fan, get the fork mounted signals. They look alot better than bar mounted signals. Looks are subjective like the sound of someones pipes. To each their own. 👊

      Maybe watch all the way to the end before you comment and make yourself look like you just did. If you can make a better video, go right ahead. But if not, stfu and feel lucky you have free content to watch to figure stuff out 😘

    Way to draw out a 15 min job into a 21 min video.
