When the Old World collapsed, humanity fell into chaos. The solar flare destroyed every institution of human civilization, causing people to fend for themselves in a collective frenzy for survival.
Your group grew up in such a world, a world of desperate tribalism where the very atmosphere is struggling to stay alive. Now, you seek to restore purpose and unity to humanity while ensuring the continuity of living existence.
Though the first project from Core Engage, New Cycle seeks to bring fresh new life to the colony survival genre by improving and reiterating on all of its cornerstones, both narratively and mechanically.

Lets see if I've got this right. You can put up power lines with transformer boxes, but you don't have basic tools? You can build housing, but can't sharpen a stake to hunt or make a bow and arrows?
And tools? 5/day??? The developers know you can use a screwdriver more than once, right?
They are contracted by governmental elements on the construction overpricing itens AND money disappearing projects

@@TrySomeFentanyl You missed the point. If he can build a house, I'm sure he can sharpen a stick to make a spear. The research tree is arbitrary and gratuitous.
@@danielross7983 So what? He didn’t focus his research on that part yet, so he has to start with the basics. Because the Egyptian built the pyramids, do you think they would automatically know how to plug a toaster in the wall? No..

Really getting tired of post Apoc games using like wind and solar only as power. Don't get me wrong wind generator be fairly easy to build and passive power but its super unreliable and batteries are expensive and large in real life. I mean if you can make a transformer like I see on the poles you have the craftsmen able to craft a boiler and generator...
