Central Milton Keynes, Shopping Centre, Stopped From Filming!!

We thought we’d take a trip to our shopping centre in Milton Keynes, do a bit of Xmas shopping, take some footage of the decorations and of our trip.
It didn’t all go to plan due to us being confronted by security and told to stop recording!

Security chap was polite, but if there are no signs saying you can’t film he can’t stop you, he doesn’t own the place!

I used to work in MK xscape and that kind of high alert what we had after the Manchester bombing you can't imagine!

And from the 9th minutes when is the Thai ladies started arguing like some ****s from Bangkok b**thel workers didn't really helped either.
@@winifredclarke1977 photography and filming is not a crime, unless there is a sign specifically stating filming is not allowed in the complex then security should not try and prevent it. We are fast becoming a policed state with cops and security trying to prevent lawful activity, hyper sensitive individuals who take it upon themselves to make rules up like this security personnel.

How come I didnt get stopped by one of these guys when I was taking pictures and videos during Christmas Eve? This is utter ridiculous that they had to cherrypick you,.corner you and insult you for no legitimate reason. Its public place so I dont see why you or anyone else are being denied to take any pictures or recording of the festive lights Display.

Your incident with the security guard seems to have upset you, he didn't explain his reasoning (which if he had any he didn't need to as the whole mall is private property) though this might have helped. To you your recording was a simple thing, but if you think about those who plan criminal activity, detailed and timed recordings of an area is of great help. So to keep you and the 10's of thousands of people safe who use Malls every day its a good idea to question at least why people are recording locations, and perhaps help identify people who do have criminal intentions.
Milton Keynes is proof that it doesn't have to be old to be a slum.

What are you on about??? They were extremely polite in my opinion! If we "dig" further, I'm sure the owner brakes a lot of rules himself!!!
