Cassiy, I can't thank you enough for thank you enough for all of your tutorials. I just watch this Pinterst tutorial, set up my business Pinterest, made boards and added my pins. With in 48 hours I have noticed a vast improvement in my views and sales on Etsy and another POD platform I use. I have a question, is there any way to have my Pinterest pin go directly to that particular listing on Etsy? I noticed when a buyer clicks one the product in Pinterest it takes them to my Etsy shops main page and the buyer will have to scroll my listing to find that particular item.

Hi Cassiy, just watched this video for a second time. i always find your videos very helpful. i really want to learn how to use pinterest better. there are lots of videos that say use pinterest and find group boards and join them. which is all well and good, but I'm struggling to find videos that actually show you how...how to find group boards, how to join them and use them etc, are you doing anymore videos on interest? I'm hoping you will because you seem to explain things much better than others. also I'm finding that the videos that i have watched about it they speak too fast its hard to absorb what they are saying. thank you as alawys
Hi Amy! I am really glad my videos have been able to help you, I really try to show things nice step by step so they are easy to understand. I honestly don't do anything more with my Pinterest than what I showed in this video. It's a good thing to use as a tool but I don't go really crazy with Pinterest. Pinterest should be more like the fuel on the fire, not the fire starter if that makes sense. So if you aren't getting sales right now, instead your time is better spent finding better niches, making better designs, buying better mock-ups etc.
Oh! and Mockup Tips video! I have trouble worrying about how many mockups I should have in a listing, times where it's better to use a model mockup or flat lay for the main photo, if each version of the mockups should be included in one listing. Any tips to help make your listings look more attractive to your customers❤️

I am so glad my videos have helped you Amanda!! Since you are just starting our, I’d really recommend only posting your own items for now. A better use of your time is finding new niches and making new designs, then once you start getting some successful listings and are making sales, then I’d focus on marketing those ones to pour more fuel on the fire!

Hi Cassiy! Thank you for your video :) I'm just starting on Pinterest, so still confused as to how to use Pinterest. I created a business account. But I have two completely different shops on Etsy, so do I create two different Pinterest accounts for each shop, or do I create different boards, or how doest that work? Also, in one of my shops, I sell printable junk journal pages and kits and in my other shop I sell printable greeting cards, party favors and wall art. Should that all be in one Pinterest account or two different ones? And my second question is about "TAGGED TOPICS" on Pinterest: When I use the Pinterest Pin Button extension (Google Chrome), to pin my one of my Esty listings, does it add my Etsy keywords to my Pinterest pin "tagged keywords"? or is it better to go directly to Pinterest and pin from there (filling out the keywords and link and title and description)? Or should I just not worry about those "tagged topics" on Pinterest? (also, why doesn't it let me edit my tagged topics even on my created pins?) I'm new to Pinterest. Thank you in advance!!

Great questions Sabrina! I wish that Etsy showed you these types of analytics but they don't. I can see how many people have come to my shop from Pinterest, but it doesn't tell me how many people actually purchased. In the last 30 days I have had about 80 people actually come to my shop from my Pinterest Account. So definitely not my main source of income but I don't put almost any effort into it other than just adding it to a board from my Etsy shop page. I rely pretty much solely on Etsy SEO to bring me sales, but in time I'm hoping to get more organic traffic as well as I am considering starting my own website soon as well and want to know how to drive traffic to it!
Hi and thanks for that good information. I'm new to Pinterest and still learning. I found a Group Board for my Etsy business that I joined. However, I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to actually post my pins onto it. Can you do a short tutorial on how to pin on the Group Boards? Thanks so much.
You just pin to it like any other board, when you click post pin then all your boards will come up as options and the group board you joined should show up as well.

I researched it and found that it is around 40 pins but I don't even have 40 pins yet. 🤷♀ Do you know if repins have the same limitations? I am being very cautious now. I just watched this video, and began pinning items from my Etsy shop. I was just deactivated by Pinterest at 20 pins, so I guess that must be the limit maybe.
Hi Cassy , did you know that Etsy take out 15% from your sell as an Offsite Adds? I just make a sell from Pinterest and Etsy take out 2.95 $ for Offsite adds . I was on shock as a new seller that was my profit lol since I lower the price so my designs can take off

Cassie, I have loved watching many of your videos. I have been working on making new designs in canva, but I just don't feel confident enough to post them to my etsy store yet. How did you get the courage to start your business from scratch?
Your first designs aren't going to be your best ones, you just have to jump in and try! This is a business of testing things until you find what works. I love the old saying "progress over perfection". You just have to focus on your "why". What does having a successful Etsy business mean to you, how can it change your life? Won't it be worth it? Do yourself a favor and just jump right in! I'd also recommend doing some self improvement as well, because you are never going to get over your imposter syndrome on your own! Some good books to read would be "Unfuck Yourself" "The Subtle Are Of Not Giving A Fuck" and "The Magic Of Thinking Big". These books and others have given me the right mindset to run a successful business and to live a happier life

I already have a business account that has lots of boards that are not related to what I sell would it be best if I open a personal account and slowly pin my personal stuff onto that as i really do want to keep them , and then concentrate on boards relevant to my Etsy shop only. Hi Cassiy. As a completely new user to Pinterest I have one question about a detail you provide in your video. At time frame 4:15 you are creating a board with the title, "Christmas 3001 Mock ups". I failed to understand the purpose for the number "3001". Could you please elaborate what the number is for? Thank you.
In that example, the "3001" is the model number for the shirt that is in the photo, it is a Bella canvas 3001. So you would just title it whatever makes sense for your product.
Has there been a change to this? I have tried multiple times to claim website however there is no option to connect only a choice of codes. This is the message from Pinterest "Previously, it was possible to claim your Instagram, CZcams or Etsy account so that your Instagram, CZcams and Etsy content was attributed to you when someone shared it on Pinterest. This meant that when someone shared content from your claimed social accounts to Pinterest, your Pinterest profile information appeared next to it. It is no longer possible to claim your social accounts, however any Pins saved to Pinterest from your previously claimed social accounts will still be saved to Pinterest and will still be attributed to you."
At 4:53 you claim that the Etsy title is automatically used for the Pinterest pin title, but how does this deal with the discrepancy in max characters, Etsy 140 vs Pinterest 100?

Hi Cassiy, just watched this video for a second time. i always find your videos very helpful. i really want to learn how to use pinterest better. there are lots of videos that say use pinterest and find group boards and join them. which is all well and good, but I'm struggling to find videos that actually show you how...how to find group boards, how to join them and use them etc, are you doing anymore videos on interest? I'm hoping you will because you seem to explain things much better than others. also I'm finding that the videos that i have watched about it they speak too fast its hard to absorb what they are saying. thank you as alawys
Hi Amy! I am really glad my videos have been able to help you, I really try to show things nice step by step so they are easy to understand. I honestly don't do anything more with my Pinterest than what I showed in this video. It's a good thing to use as a tool but I don't go really crazy with Pinterest. Pinterest should be more like the fuel on the fire, not the fire starter if that makes sense. So if you aren't getting sales right now, instead your time is better spent finding better niches, making better designs, buying better mock-ups etc.

Oh! and Mockup Tips video! I have trouble worrying about how many mockups I should have in a listing, times where it's better to use a model mockup or flat lay for the main photo, if each version of the mockups should be included in one listing. Any tips to help make your listings look more attractive to your customers❤️

A better use of your time is finding new niches and making new designs, then once you start getting some successful listings and are making sales, then I’d focus on marketing those ones to pour more fuel on the fire!

Hi Cassiy! Thank you for your video :) I'm just starting on Pinterest, so still confused as to how to use Pinterest. I created a business account. But I have two completely different shops on Etsy, so do I create two different Pinterest accounts for each shop, or do I create different boards, or how doest that work? Also, in one of my shops, I sell printable junk journal pages and kits and in my other shop I sell printable greeting cards, party favors and wall art. Should that all be in one Pinterest account or two different ones?
And my second question is about "TAGGED TOPICS" on Pinterest: When I use the Pinterest Pin Button extension (Google Chrome), to pin my one of my Esty listings, does it add my Etsy keywords to my Pinterest pin "tagged keywords"? or is it better to go directly to Pinterest and pin from there (filling out the keywords and link and title and description)? Or should I just not worry about those "tagged topics" on Pinterest? (also, why doesn't it let me edit my tagged topics even on my created pins?) I'm new to Pinterest. Thank you in advance!!

Loved this video! Question: what % would you say Pinterest drives sales for your Etsy shop and do you utilize Pinterest in other ways separate from your Etsy shop?
Great questions Sabrina! I wish that Etsy showed you these types of analytics but they don't. I can see how many people have come to my shop from Pinterest, but it doesn't tell me how many people actually purchased. In the last 30 days I have had about 80 people actually come to my shop from my Pinterest Account.
So definitely not my main source of income but I don't put almost any effort into it other than just adding it to a board from my Etsy shop page. I rely pretty much solely on Etsy SEO to bring me sales, but in time I'm hoping to get more organic traffic as well as I am considering starting my own website soon as well and want to know how to drive traffic to it!
Hi and thanks for that good information. I'm new to Pinterest and still learning. I found a Group Board for my Etsy business that I joined. However, I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to actually post my pins onto it. Can you do a short tutorial on how to pin on the Group Boards? Thanks so much.
You just pin to it like any other board, when you click post pin then all your boards will come up as options and the group board you joined should show up as well.

I researched it and found that it is around 40 pins but I don't even have 40 pins yet. 🤷♀ Do you know if repins have the same limitations? I am being very cautious now. I just watched this video, and began pinning items from my Etsy shop. I was just deactivated by Pinterest at 20 pins, so I guess that must be the limit maybe.
Hi Cassy , did you know that Etsy take out 15% from your sell as an Offsite Adds? I just make a sell from Pinterest and Etsy take out 2.95 $ for Offsite adds . I was on shock as a new seller that was my profit lol since I lower the price so my designs can take off

When you were discussing Tailwind, you said that I'd send along "my SEO" to the service. I know that SEO is the optimization part of Etsy's search engine, but I didn’t know it had anything to do with my shop or myself specifically. Can you expand a bit?
This was really great. Your videos are extremely informative. The only thing I am confused about is what if I have Etsy, Ebay, and Shopify. Am I only doing Etsy to Pinterest or can I do all three stores?
Cassie, I have loved watching many of your videos. I have been working on making new designs in canva, but I just don't feel confident enough to post them to my etsy store yet. How did you get the courage to start your business from scratch?
Your first designs aren't going to be your best ones, you just have to jump in and try! This is a business of testing things until you find what works. I love the old saying "progress over perfection". You just have to focus on your "why". What does having a successful Etsy business mean to you, how can it change your life? Won't it be worth it? Do yourself a favor and just jump right in!
I'd also recommend doing some self improvement as well, because you are never going to get over your imposter syndrome on your own! Some good books to read would be "Unfuck Yourself" "The Subtle Are Of Not Giving A Fuck" and "The Magic Of Thinking Big". These books and others have given me the right mindset to run a successful business and to live a happier life

I already have a business account that has lots of boards that are not related to what I sell would it be best if I open a personal account and slowly pin my personal stuff onto that as i really do want to keep them , and then concentrate on boards relevant to my Etsy shop only. I click on each listing specifically, as you said, but the title still doesn't transfer over. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Hi Cassiy. As a completely new user to Pinterest I have one question about a detail you provide in your video. At time frame 4:15 you are creating a board with the title, "Christmas 3001 Mock ups". I failed to understand the purpose for the number "3001". Could you please elaborate what the number is for? Thank you.
In that example, the "3001" is the model number for the shirt that is in the photo, it is a Bella canvas 3001. So you would just title it whatever makes sense for your product.

Has there been a change to this? I have tried multiple times to claim website however there is no option to connect only a choice of codes. This is the message from Pinterest "Previously, it was possible to claim your Instagram, CZcams or Etsy account so that your Instagram, CZcams and Etsy content was attributed to you when someone shared it on Pinterest. This meant that when someone shared content from your claimed social accounts to Pinterest, your Pinterest profile information appeared next to it.
It is no longer possible to claim your social accounts, however any Pins saved to Pinterest from your previously claimed social accounts will still be saved to Pinterest and will still be attributed to you."
Sorry I have no idea what that post is talking about, I'd probably reach out to Pinterest for assistance!

No this method only works in chrome because I am showing the chrome extension that Pinterest has!
At 4:53 you claim that the Etsy title is automatically used for the Pinterest pin title, but how does this deal with the discrepancy in max characters, Etsy 140 vs Pinterest 100?
